Last night was exactly what I needed. This past week i've been so swamped with my new job, but luckily for my own sanity, I didn't have to work this weekend, so last night we had a little fun! First me, Holly and Shae attended the football game. We lost 31-7. WOO GO HAWKS.
Later, we met up with some guys from our ward and went to Brunswick to go bowling. However, while we were waiting for a lane to open a super nice worker let us do the bumper cars for free! I don't think my neck will ever be the same.
Finally, it was our turn to bowl and we scored a lane next to two drunk couples. yes! no, but really they were the highlight of our night. One of them kept coming over and talking us about how good it feels to be sixteen and how we should never drink alcohol. Then we watched as they would blind fold each other and attempt to make a strike. Surprisingly, one of them actually did, but the other three just threw the ball down the alley next to them making a huge crashing noise. And for the first time I finally witnessed people taking shots! So not as dramatic as movies make it, but thats how most things are. We were sad to see them finally gather their things and stumble out the exit, because we knew we just lost our entertainment for the rest of the night.
I guess the lesson learned here tonight is how glad I am that I will never experience being drunk.
Oh and that i still suck at bowling.
