A Long (but good) week.

This was my week according to the photos on my camera:

This little angel joined the fam. Her name is Nykelle. I am in love with her and her hair!

Lately me and my friends have discovered we spend so much time just sitting in our cars talking. I guess it's the most private, enclosed space we can find where we can discuss all of our cliche and dramatic 16 year old girl high school drama. I mean really, who else wants to hear us complain about how so-and-so asked this boy to morp before she could or how this girl is all over some guy who we are pretty sure is obsessed with some other chick. We could spend hours conversing over really serious matters.

Speaking of morp, We helped our friend Tessa ask a guy, so we all officially have dates and we cannot wait!

Wednesday was a half-day and so I went with some friends to the Liberty Market in Downtown Gilbert. This was my first time going and it was super good! No wonder it's so popular!

We spend a ridiculous amount of time and money at Bahama Bucks which explains why my punch card was filled up so i got a free avalanche!  (don't judge. We all shared.)

I went to a Tangled themed party and we had a cake decorating competition, "Cake Boss" style, and the cake of course had to be Tangled related which my team won!
(Don't be confused, it was an 18 year-old birthday party.)

Also, thanks to my good pal Lindsey i got hooked on another T.V. Show.
That must explain why none of my homework got done this week.

The Holidays

This past month i have been so busy with family, christmas, enjoying my time off from school and new years that i have hardly had time to take a breath and post about it, so here goes:

Every year i look forward to Christmas but this year i was more axious for it because our entire family was going to celebrating it together! Andrea and Jeremy came on Christmas eve morning just in time for  our traditional breakfast with daddy. Afterwards, Andrea and jeremy shared their exciting news that they will be having a baby girl!! We were all sooo happy for them and i cannot wait to get another niece!

That night for Christmas eve we had some extended family come over and we had a yummy dinner followed by a nativity that sadly us older grandkids had to put on... not really the same as when you were younger but hopefully with all the new little ones being added to the family soon they will take on that calling ;) Later, Santa came over and surprised us all with some gifts. Not only the little kids but the older grandkids adults as well.

Christmas morning we of course woke up super early to see what santa brought for us and since we have 8a.m. church we waited until after church to open the rest of our gifts. But it was just as good! :)

My cousin Raquel was surprised by a trip to Disneyland and lucky for me i was included in that gift to join her! so instead of going to the cabin with the rest of my family me and Kell went with her parents for 4 days to our favorite place! and as always it was a blast!

(i realize most of the pictures are annoying head shots of us, but that was due to the fact that we were by ourselves for the majority of time)

We rode Splash mountain several times.. :)

For New Years Eve my family did a Murder Mystery dinner party that my mom bought and we each were assigned a character and had to dress up and act like them while spending the evening trying to figure out who killed the victim, which obviously was a good time.  Then Later that night my friends and I went to a party and danced the rest of the year until it was time to countdown and watch everyone around you make-out with the stranger next to them. Not fun to watch...

Then before we knew it, it was time to get ready for school to start again.. But besides that, the holidays were great as usual and I'm ready to see what 2012 has in store :)
