~ Chowing down my Taco Bell after dialysis -combo #10, large diet Mountain Dew, two crunchy tacos, and a cheesy Gordita crunch! Yum!
~ A bird sat on my porch metal thingy for a few seconds. It was grand seeing a bird out there, birds are like flying jewels.

Birthday Cake, Lucy's Birthday, Simplest Grub
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Enjoying a piece of birthday cake Carole sent me home with yesterday.
~ Watching 'I Love Lucy' Her 101st birthday would have been today! They showed "Lucy's Last Birthday" episode, the episode in which Ricky sings the theme song to her.
~ Ice cold Sierra Mist, a toasted bagel with LOTS of cream cheese, a double fudge pop-tart, and I'm happy for the night!

Birthday Celebration, Apples To Apples, A Better Place
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Celebrating Anne, 12, and Sara, 10, at their birthday dinner today. Dinner was ribs and Texas Toast from Rib Shack, macaroni salad, fruit salad, and a chocolate birthday cake from Heritage Bakery. Rita and Carol attended also.
~ After dinner we played Apples To Apples, a fun game we also played on Christmas. I just found out that it's a game that won a Mensa Select Award in 1999!
~ Remembering Aunt Gayle, who passed away last night. Wally wrote in Facebook, "Posting this one in honor of my aunt Gayle who is now in a better place... Sure will miss her here! "And how you ask are we to walk the spiritual path? We answer: Say little; love much; give all; judge no-one; aspire to all that is pure and good-and keep on keeping on." ~White Eagle"

Beauty in blue, Listen to thunder, Cat Whisperer
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Received many compliments on my blue shirt today and for looking good in it! Several dialysis technicians, including Joe, Jackie who saw me from her balcony, all remarked sweetly!
~ Thunder and rain in the evening! One of my favorite aspects of summer!
~ Watching Jackson Galaxy, the cat whisperer, on My Cat From Hell. He respects cats and truly listens to what they have to say.

CSS summer picnic, Baby Keith, Turtle
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Attended CSS's summer picnic with Betty. It was great seeing friends who like me -Heidi, LaRhonda, Carmalita. Josh and Keith had already come and gone, and I was soooooo looking forward to seeing Keith. Betty's cousin Maria came with us, and Betty brought along a delicious spaghetti salad she made. On the way there we went to Michael's liqueur store where we picked up some frozen drinks -I had a strawberry daiquiri
~ LaRhonda and her friend gave me a plastic animal they had and told me they had even named it -"Baby Keith". I don't know how loud she said that, or who heard it, but who all knows I like Keith is a big question too. Then again, as Betty said, "Whoever needs to hear, heard it."
~ After leaving the picnic Betty drove to Dairy Dan so I could satisfy my sweet tooth. I told her I wanted something with Mackinac Island Fudge or Rocky Road ice cream. They only had chocolate, vanilla, and swirl, so she got a Turtle. Really quite good -vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and warm caramel sauce sitting in a chocolate covered waffle bowl -VERY good!

Sara's guitar, Valet pass, Koi fish
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Carole told me that Dave won an actual electric guitar at Cedar Point yesterday for Sara!
~ My favorite dialysis technician John had me laughing when he said he remembered me working at Oakwood valet ten years ago because I was rude in not giving him a pass!
~ Saw a video on how to make an origami koi fish, and decided that would be the next thing I make for Keith

Cute resale clothes, Carole gets to the point, Thank you Jackie
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Going to Salvation Army with Betty and her grandson, and found some cute clothes and a nice bra. She helped me in the dressing room and is hung-ho on helping me dress to impress my guy!
~ Carole and the family went to Cedar Point to ride the rides, my most favorite place in the world!
~ Jackie was so sweet to let me borrow her main door key when I went out because I gave my keys to Carole so she could bring back my car.
