Making The Rounds, Blue Light Special, Movie Of The Week

TODAY I SMILED...

~ Visiting Aunt Jeannie, who's been having fun with Wii Bowling at Heartland Plymouth as she builds her strength up, then dad, who is in Heartland Livonia. He slept most of the time I was there, but opened his eyes wide open before I was about to leave. He was quite interested in his old wedding album I was showing him, although I'm not sure if he remembered anyone in the pictures.

Home Sweet Home, Great Gift Cards, Parental Possessions

TODAY I SMILED...

~ My bedroom is now set up, I once again have a nice clean room with a bed! I also obtained dad's dinette table to round out my puzzle/art room!

~ Spent my Lulu By Design (a $20 card I won at Halloween), and Pier 1 ($20 Christmas card from Carole and family) gift cards. At Lulu's I chose a photo album that was made by an African tribe, and two amethyst stones for my stone holder. At Pier 1 I saw a pretty candle holder that I realized would make an awesome book end if I bought two, so I did! I bought two Bamboo pillar candles too (it matches my bedroom carpet!)

~ Jesse asked for dad's old beret, which I had just boxed up in a storage box. I asked him if he would like mom's old glass bank, which he took as well. There is a bit of change in it and a dollar bill, but the only way you can get money out of it is if you smash it!

Mini Vacation, Hello Stranger, Kind Neighbor

TODAY I SMILED...

~ Enjoying a relaxing, chilled out, day one of a three day week-end

~ Hearing Chuck's voice on the phone saying "Well, hello there, stranger!" and then chatting with him for a nice half hour. I'm always relieved when my big brother calls from his far away Texas home, especially when he tells me all is well and I can tell it by his voice.

~ My neighbor Tommy cleared my entire driveway, sidewalk, and porch walk after today's mini blizzard, that man is awesome!
