TODAY I SMILED...
~ Learning that the bonuses we can win at work has upped about $20 on each level, and the top bonus per week will be $175 rather than $125. It's time to start working overtime!
~ The thermostat in my car shows that it is just over 70-degrees outside today, nice!
~ Noticing that many people are wearing green today. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Spring Sign, No Coat, Speaking With Sue
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Seeing a red-breasted Robin sitting on my front lawn, telling me Spring is about to arrive.
~ It's so nice outside I decide to voyage sans jacket when I leave the house for a short drive.
~ Talking to Sue about her and the boys visit to dad's yesterday. It was great catching up with her, we haven't spoken for awhile.

Lovely Number, Well Again, Happy Cologne
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Looking at the weather report in the newspaper I see a very lovely number coming up - 60-degree weather!
~ Co-worker Pam is back in work today after leaving ill quickly yesterday. Medics had to come to help her. She was very jittery and found out that it was caused from two meds not working well together in her body.
~ Upon opening the front door to stand on the porch for a bit after returning from work (the weather was quite nice), I see a box holding the screen door open. It's my Clinique Happy cologne!

Side Of Fries, Driving Val, Penny Dropper
TODAY I SMILED...
~ The aroma of freshly heated french fries suddenly spreads through the office from a nearby desk, and it smells so terrific.
~ Giving Valencia a lift to the bus stop after work, she always has such quick energy!
~ After receiving a penny for change at the gas station I toss it on the ground outside. Yes, I know, it is littering, but then again someone might find it to be their 'lucky penny'.

Groovy Light, Soul Song, Post Surgery
TODAY I SMILED...
~ My lava lamp came in the mail! Much thanks goes to AT&T for the $100 Visa gift card I received for signing my laptop up with them. I used it, all on Amazon.com, to buy Coleman Booster Cables for my car, blue/silver lava lamp, Clinique Happy cologne, 'Ravensburger Emerald Paradise' 1,000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose by Choquette (used book).
~ Walking out of dad's room I heard the prettiest church music being played a couple units down, it had a Gregorian Chant tempo sung with English words. Quite soothing to the ear.
~ At dad's 'day after cataract surgery' appointment, Dr. Kronenburg told us his eye is looking good. Which was quite a relief since he had taken his bandage off over night and missed quite a few eye drops.

Sleeping Smokie, Open Road, Successful Surgery
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Wondering where Smokie wandered off to, then turning around to see him laying on the back of the chair I was sitting in.
~ Driving Ford Road at 4:30 in the morning, no other traffic beside me and yellow flashing lights rather than red.
~ My dad's cataract surgery was a success, and he didn't need anesthetics.

Morning Cereal, March Marches In, Bamboo Beauty
TODAY I SMILED...
~ Opening the front door to get the morning paper and seeing a free sample of Banana Nut Cheerios delivered with it.
~ Seeing new pictures on my wall now that a new month has set in.
~ Erica, who sits in the work cubicle next to me, puts a healthy green bamboo plant on the window sill in front of us; this simple, beautiful, greenery livens up the atmosphere, contrasting off-white walls and gray computers
