Our house was partially destroyed by the shelling. 🏚️ We tried to stay, but the cracked walls and collapsing ceilings made it uninhabitable. We had no choice but to flee, seeking a refuge to protect our children from this horror.

Now, we find ourselves in a shelter in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, a school under construction that lacks the most basic necessities of life. 🏫 There is no clean drinking water, no electricity, and no sewage system. The bitter cold haunts us day and night, and my children shiver every night under a single old blanket that barely covers them. ❄️

I lost my job and my source of income. 💼❌ I can no longer provide the basic needs for my family. My children have no school to attend. 📚 Lama’s dreams of becoming a doctor, Nabeel’s hopes of becoming an engineer, and even Amir’s innocent laughter have all faded into distant memories amidst the devastation.

Between the bombing, the shells of the planes and the cannons, and the sounds of bullets that echoed without stopping, the heavy rains came to represent an additional great suffering for the residents of the Gaza Strip. As winter approached for the second time during the war, the weather began to cool and the rain began to fall. It was light, so it flooded our tent, our food, our clothes, and even our mattresses with water. Sand and water became everywhere, and the tents became just pieces of cloth that did not protect against the rain and cold.

The life span of the nylon fabrics that tents are made of is 6 months, and now we have been living in them for a whole year, as they have melted from the intense heat of the sun, and we currently need to buy new nylon to make a new tent for 8 people so that we can control the situation, and this requires a large sum of money after the prices rose to 10 times the normal price, not to mention our need for blankets and covers to keep warm and protect our bodies from the winter cold.

I was contacted by Nader to draw pictures for and help spread his brother Abdulsalam Al-Anqar’s fundraiser to save their family. Nader is a 17 year old boy who lives in Gaza with his family: parents Ahmed (54) and mother Iman (49), brothers Abdulsalam (26), Mohammed (14), and Omar (21) and Abdulsalam’s wife and their one year old daughter Iman. Imagine it was your sibling, your friend, your son, who should be in school or with his friends, who instead has to hide from bombs and ask for help online to save his family. His family have suffered through one year of genocide. All of you are their hope to get to safety.

Abdulsalams daughter Iman is only one year old and has lived most her life in a war zone. She is suffering from malnutrition. It’s every fathers worst nightmare to see their child starve and not be able to feed her. Please help him feed his daughter and get her to safety. No child should grow up hearing the sound of bombs. Every child has the right to food and safety. You can help give Iman the childhood she should have, where she can sleep in a safe bed at night with a full stomach.

Their father Ahmed has cancer and needs surgery and medication. It is not possible to get the treatment he needs in Gaza. every day his illness is left untreated, the cancer will continue to spread through his body, so he very urgently needs money for treatment and travel. If you help them get to their goal, you are saving their fathers life. Don’t let this family who have already lost so much lose their father, husband, and grandfather

Nader has showed me pictures of this explosion close to them, thankfully they were able to get away. Every day they stay in Gaza their lives are at risk from israeli bombs. Every day and hour counts. I know there are compassionate and kind people who are willing to help. every euro helps, YOUR donation will bring them one moment closer to safety. With love and hope I’m asking you to give what you can, I believe in the kind people of the world and I beg you to not let them die. If you can’t donate, please share so it may reach people who can.

Never forget that palestinians are not numbers on a list of deaths. Please think of each of them, think of their names and faces and know that you can help them. I think of them every day. Hello everyone, I am Ahlam, 21 years old. My life before the war was simple, filled with ordinary dreams like any young woman my age. I envisioned a future full of the ability to help others. I lived with my family in a warm house full of love and security, thinking about how I could achieve my dreams and become an impactful person in society.

But suddenly, everything changed. The war swept through our city like a relentless storm. In a single night, my home became just a memory, and the city I once knew crumbled before my eyes. The sound of planes and shells became the only thing people could hear. We tried to find shelter, a safe place to hide our dreams and lives, but the war followed us wherever we went.

We were forced to leave everything behind—the house, the memories, and even the university. We became displaced, homeless, with no destination, just trying to survive. I walked with my family through unfamiliar roads, searching for a place to take us in, trying to escape danger, running from one explosion to the next, from one ruin to another.

The war didn’t just destroy our city and homes, it destroyed our dreams. My dream of completing my studies became far out of reach, and every day, I feel hope slipping further away. But despite all this, something inside me refuses to give up. There is a desire to escape this reality and build a new life, a life worth living. I dream of continuing my education, I dream of standing on my own feet again and achieving the goal I was once striving for: to help others who have lived through the pain of war like me.

I ask for your help, humbly. I can’t get out of these circumstances on my own. The donations you gather will help me travel to a safe place where I can continue my studies and start a new life away from war and fear. The amount I’m asking for is the key to a new life, to the dream of becoming strong again and one day helping my family and community.

I don’t know maybe you are tired of hearing about Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) but you have to remember that he is trying to survive through a genocide. I can guarantee you that he doesn’t like asking for help either, rather everyday he struggles to reach out to people. I mean it is kind of horrible to have gone through Zionist harassment and then finding out that people have stopped responding to you in every way. It kills something inside, especially so soon after finding out that the occupation forces have once again bombed your already destroyed house for no purpose at all, except to flex their power .

Right now Siraj’s family is struggling to make do. With the early set in of torrential rains, they don’t know what is going to happen. They don’t know if the 10 children of the family and the elderly parents will survive through this incoming winter! It is so horrible to have to beg for a chance to survive. So horrible to explain every detail of your life, your every action which in this case entails why he had to increase the end goal of the campaign. I don’t know why the donations have stopped but you do realize that he wouldn’t be bothering any of you if a settler colony was not bent on destroying Gaza to cement its existence right? He would have been in his home. His kids, his nephews and nieces would all be in the home he took a decade of pain to built. They wouldn’t be terrified of the harsh winter ahead and that house of theirs would have given shelter to generations!

Siraj is begging you to donate so that he may buy shaders to water proof his tent. If in the next week the rains start without mercy, then the family at least wouldn’t have to worry about leaks of icy water.

The crowdfunding platform has updated their policy and stated the following:
