  I wanted to like it, but it all feels rushed to get through a story and forgets to really build characters to empathize with, and gives us little more than caricatures. I’m familiar enough with DCOM movies that I keep things within that scope, and this one just felt a little lacking. That said, it follows general story beats enough that it’s an easy watch, and I’m sure pre-teens will enjoy it more than I did.
