A woman who had an interesting story, but the movie felt rushed in lots of places. Feel like the ending makes sense to include as it happened... but the tonal shift is so abrupt and then the movie wraps up in what feel like 5 minutes after the graphic end. Needed more time to show the story and really get to know the main character and more time to get into the tragic ending and how the kidnapper/murdered was punished and America's response to the situation. Could have been a great movie, instead it's more content for Netflix.

A luke warm biopic starring one of the most celebrated actors. It's way down on his list of movies as far as popularity on Letterboxd goes. Lindberg isn't as celebrated a figure all these years later, but I also just think this movie doesn't stack up to the laundry list of classics Stewart was also in, some being amongst the most Iconic films of all time.

It may just be a fairly simple Tarzan/wild boy story, but really I'd have a hard time pointing you to a better telling of this story. The historical significance of this movie shouldn't be undersold. The first movie to sell it's 'actual' soundtrack, actually taking the songs/music from the actual film,…

There are no 5 star reviews of this movie? Okay, I'm the 5 star review of this movie. If Katharine Hepburn isn't relatable to you in this film, then fuck you Mr. or Ms. perfect. A tale about being wanted, and not being wanted which shows the glaring desperation that comes with loneliness and who helps her out of it? Burt fucking Lancaster, that's who. Who the fuck are you? Nobody, but Starbuck(Burt Lancaster) wanted 2 minutes of my time,…
