Zero Dark Thirty 2012
Had to rewatch this and easily deserves the rating. Has to be this long to warrant the chase of UBL. Tension just ratchets up bit by bit and despite everyone knowing how this ends, Zero Dark Thirty is one immense watch. Jackpot.

This is a weird one granted, and George Lazenby does well with what he has. Not one of Blofeld's best laid plans. Regardless, a fun ride with a cracking theme tune, one of the best and most memorable. Whilst strange Bond agrees to marriage just for information, enough is made of the relationship between Tracy and Bond that the ending hits home. Could have been so much better, I blame the 60s. Underrated tosh.

Halloween 1978
Can see why the original is well loved and boy are there alot of sequels... Amazingly, this is my first watch and Myers is an effectively tense presence, although maybe my enjoyment is tempered by having watched a helluva lot of horror before getting to this 'classic'. Ending frustrated me somewhat with Laurie twice turning her back, and OMG is Myers superhuman?? Maybe more revealed in next films but he is indestructible.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Heard good things but just not for me. Fourth wall breaking was some of the worst I've ever seen. Actually couldn't care less about what the film was trying to tell me and it generally just seemed up its own arse. I saw the TV spewing utter crap.
