  Ending pissed me off. The first half was gorgeous to me, especially the camera movement and framing, the pacing and the suspense/tension build… the acting was stellar all the way through, but yeah wtf was that ending

  Masterpiece. I have so many thoughts. Documentaries feel inherently more dramatic in its reality and it’s grounding of real people - being able to witness the freedom of an ecosystem of black femme working class lesbians using their creativity and sexual energy to not only survive but protect each other through community in the face of cops and the violent, voyeuristic ass state. I have so many thoughts!! But ultimately one of my favorite watches of this year so far.…
