the theatrical performances of the cast were stellar but really overstimulating…now I just want to see the director’s cut and not this weird chopped up version. There were so many unfulfilling plot holes or important character-defining moments that were kind of just left as loose ends. honestly felt like I was in a weird trance, like I couldn’t really process the movie while I was watching it. Like a sneeze that never came. This is getting 4 stars because of the performances and the potential of the director’s cut. otherwise it probably deserves 3.5?

Love this but hate that I got theater bed bug bites…..I walked into this with minimal expectations because I’m not the biggest fan of horror though I love sci-fi and thrillers but Companion is such a good mix of everything that I forgot I was sitting in old ratty Times Square theater seats

I’ve always been a fan of survival movies and this one is definitely not an exception. The cinematography combined with the sequences of action, creates a sense of solitude along with inevitability. As nature and natural enemies whittle down the group of survivors, the open ending seems very logical and well placed.
