  It was definitely one of those cheesy boy meets pet for life movies, but I still kind of liked it? The plot was relatively decent and I like how Brom's death was done: Saphira breathed over his tomb making it like glass or something. But they could have done a lot more with Durza and the mystery hooded figure. Acting was also not that believable.

  I really loved how the people's greed was personified, both in their demands and the mayor's growing weight. They went from gratitude (for no longer having to eat sardines) to wanting whatever food they could imagine, and Flint gave in no matter the consequences. The way his invention caused disasters and living food to terrorize the island reflected their poor decision making well.

  Dr. Maclcolm's monologue held so much weight when in conjunction with the scenes of dinosaurs no so peacefully coexisting with other species. It definitely was a good choice to not have a surfer be eaten by the Mosasaurus, yet.
