"We're making a movie set in Poland. Quick - list down every Chopin nocturne you know."

All jokes aside, there's a fun train sequence in the middle. Lavish shots of European countryside, and nonstop talk. Think: *Before Sunrise* but heavier on the history. What a wild ride. But in a weird way it ends happily!

Here is another film that could have certainly done better with a few more minutes of character building, particularly with regards to Elisa. While we come to learn the quirky (and criminal) ways of our downtrodden but romantic hero Labidi, we know nothing of Elisa's motivations and feelings, and as a result everything feels one-sided. It's at least a minor relief that they didn't turn her into a complete manic pixie dream girl.
