Chincha

RESUMEN
Señorío de habla tallán ubicado en el extremo norte del espacio costeño del imperio Chimar. Pervivía gracias al caudaloso y perma-nente río de su nombre que baja de Loja. Su clima caluroso permitía la reproducción incluso de caimanes (lagartos). Sus habitantes dedicados a la agricultura y pesca muy activa en el mar, también consagraban gran parte de su vida a la confección de varios estilos de embarcaciones, la más común de ellas las balsas de madera Ochroma que, con timón, anclas y velamen favorecía la navegación a largas distancias, como es a Chincha y playas del oeste de Panamá. Así intercambiaban caracolas Strombus Galeatus con bronce, oro, telas y otros objetos andinos.

En este artículo se abordan los procesos de inferencia realizados para definir espacios arquitectónicos y las actividades productivas desarrolladas y subyacentes en el Subsector Chacra W del sitio de Tambo de Mora (PV57-2) ubicado en valle bajo de Chincha. A partir de ello se aporta al conocimiento acerca de los grados de especialización del trabajo en el Señorío de Chincha. Posteriormente se ubica las actividades de producción de alimentos en el marco de la reconstrucción de los aspectos del modo de vida, manejo de recursos naturales (botánico y faunísticos) y formas de consumo en relación al área monumental de este centro urbano durante la ocupación Inca del valle.

En esta investigación, se estudian las actitudes lingüísticas de participantes afroperuanos de la ‘zona urbana’ del distrito de El Carmen y del centro poblado El Guayabo. Ambas zonas están ubicadas en Chincha, provincia costera al sur de Lima. Este estudio aborda las actitudes lingüísticas desde el enfoque de estudio mentalista (Agheyisi y Fishman 1970; Cooper y Fishman 1974; Fasold 1996). Los objetivos de esta investigación se centran en analizar las actitudes lingüísticas frente a las variedades de español del Perú, frente a la variedad de español propia de los participantes y frente a la variedad de español de comunidades afroperuanas no-propias (El Carmen/ El Guayabo). Se emplea una metodología mixta (cuantitativa y cualitativa). Los datos son obtenidos mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario sociolingüístico a una muestra de 60 participantes clasificados según los factores edad, género y procedencia. Se concluye que los participantes mayores, en especial las mujeres mayores, tienden a valorar positivamente el español de Lima por considerar dicha ciudad como una zona de buena educación. Por otro lado, las y los participantes jóvenes carmelitanos tienden a valorar negativamente el castellano andino por considerar dicha modalidad hablada en una zona propia de lenguas originarias. En cuanto a las valoraciones frente a la variedad de español de las comunidades afroperuanas, los participantes tienden a valorar la variedad de sus comunidades positivamente en términos afectivos: se identifican con su modalidad de castellano y se sienten orgullosos de ella. Sin embargo, pese a sentirse identificados y orgullosos, se sienten inseguros de su variedad por considerarla incorrecta al caracterizarla como un castellano de pronunciación incompleta (elisión de sonidos) y de tono de voz alto.

El artículo analiza los adobes de Chincha siguiendo criterios de estandarización técnica, proponiendo tipos a partir de la tendencia a las formas geométricas. Haciendo comparaciones controladas el autor propone un hipótesis de relación cultural a nivel puramente constructivo, concluyendo que los adobes de Chincha tiene origen en el valle de Ica siendo un artefacto relacionado a la civilización Paracas.

Este artículo reporta los resultados de nuestras investigaciones en el sitio arqueológico de La Cumbe, ubicado en la margen norte del valle bajo de Chincha, Costa Sur de Perú. Nuestros estudios confirman que existió una importante ocupación Paracas en el sitio y que su monumental plataforma fue construida y utilizada entre los siglos IV y III
a. C. Discutimos la naturaleza de este sitio y su asociación con otras prácticas rituales, económicas y políticas dirigidas por las élites Paracas en el valle de Chincha. Nuestro trabajo confirma que La Cumbe fue una de las edificaciones Paracas más importantes del valle de Chincha.

This article reports results of our research at the La Cumbe archaeological site, located on the northern bank of the lower Chincha valley in southern Peru. Our studies confirm that there was a vigorous Paracas occupation at the site. The monumental platform mound was constructed and used between the 4th and 3rd centuries BCE.We discuss the nature of this site and its association with other ritual, economic and political practices conducted by the contemporary Paracas elites of the Chincha valley. Our work illustrates that La Cumbe was one of most important Paracas buildings in this valley.

trade with social and administrative policy of the empire has found. Ethnohistorical sources are

У статті розглядається походження, розвиток, структура і функціонування однієї зі
складових економіки імперії інків - торгівля, ринки та їх різновиди. Виявлено тісний
взаємозв'язок торгівлі із соціальною й адміністративною політикою імперії. Проаналізовано
етноісторичні джерела та використано словники мов кечуа та аймара. Виокремлені
питання, що потребують подальших досліджень.

В статье рассматривается происхождение, развитие, структура и функционирование
одной из составляющих экономики империи инков - торговля, рынки и их разновидности.
Выявлена тесная взаимосвязь торговли с социальной и административной политикой
империи. Проанализированы этноисторические источники и использованы словари языков
кечуа и аймара. Выделены вопросы, требующие дальнейших исследований.

"Chincha (Tamarindus indica Linn.), an extensively used material for culinary preparations in Indian civilization, has a vast medicinal value, emphasized in Ayurvedic classics as an independent medicine as well as a component of various formulations. Besides fruit being an important part, the Kasta (wood) is another part used specially for the purpose of Kshara (alkaline extract) preparation. Authentic published information regarding the pharmacognostical and physicochemical analysis of Chincha Kasta is not found in any of the works including in API (Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India). Hence, an attempt
has been made for the first time in this direction. Various standardization parameters such as morphological characters, microscopic, physicochemical evaluations, TLC finger print, and fluorescence analysis of stem with heartwood were carried out. Transverse section of stem showed important characters such as phelloderm, stone cells layer, fiber groups, calcium
oxalate, crystal fibers, and tylosis in heartwood region. Four characteristic spots were observed under UV long wave, in thin layer chromatography with the solvent combination of toluene: ethyl acetate (8:2). These studies provide referential information for correct identification and standardization of this plant material."
