Neste livro analiso a trajetória do jornal Meio-Dia, um dos poucos órgãos de imprensa no Brasil estadonovista a apoiar a Alemanha e o nazismo na Segunda Guerra Mundial. Trata-se, além disso, de um estudo que abrange as relações entre a imprensa e o aparato repressivo do Estado Novo de Vargas, bem como com a espionagem no período.

Niewielu polskich historyków i medioznawców interesowało się jednocześnie prasą oraz wydawnictwami książek, dlatego też z uwagą należy przyjąć pokaźną (liczącą prawie osiemset stron) monografię Cecylii Kuty, zatytułowaną Niecenzurowane. Z dziejów dru giego obiegu wydawniczego w Krakowie w latach 1976-1990 (Kraków 2019). Publikacja ta ukazała się w ramach centralnego projektu badawczego Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej "Opozycja i opór społeczny w PRL 1956-1989". Na dobrą sprawę uwzględniony w niej materiał wystarczyłby na dwie pozycje zwarte. Jedna mogłaby dotyczyć prasy drugiego obiegu, druga natomiast wydawnictw o tym charakterze. W ostatnich dziesięciu latach ukazały się źródłoznawcze opracowania Dariusza Jarosza traktujące o kwestii książek w PRL i publikacje Marka Tobery odnoszące się do polskiego rynku książki, księgarstwa, prasy branżowej po II wojnie światowej. Do poszerzenia dotąd niezbyt obszernego dorobku naukowego na temat wydawnictw i prasy w latach 1945-1989 przyczyniły się też pozycje (żeby wymienić niektóre) Wandy Ciszewskiej, Doroty Degen,

Az 1986. április 26-án történt csernobili atomkatasztrófa máig számos egészségügyi, politikai, energetikai, társadalmi kérdést vet fel, és élénken foglalkoztatja a közvéleményt. A baleset utáni első napokban, amikor már a sérült reaktortól több ezer kilométerrel távolabb is észlelték a szakemberek a radioaktív sugárzás jelentős megemelkedését, és már azt is tudták, hogy súlyos erőműsérülésről van szó, amely vélhetően Kelet-Ukrajna területén történt, a Szovjetunió nem reagált a hivatalos diplomáciai megkeresésekre. Később letagadta, hogy tudomása lenne atomerőmű-balesetről, végül két nappal később, április 28-án este egy kormányközleményben elismerték a történteket. Az első információhiányos napok hatással volt a magyar tájékoztatásra is – a hírközlés minősége máig vitatott kérdés.
Az atomkatasztrófa hazai médiareprezentációjáról akkor lehet komplex képet kapni, ha azt a korabeli politikai-tájékoztatáspolitikai kontextusban vizsgáljuk, és közben felfejtjük azt is, hogy a Magyar Szocialista Munkáspárt vezetésének milyen információi voltak a történtekről. Dolgozatomban előbb ismertetem a korabeli magyar médiarendszer sajátosságait, majd a levéltári források alapján annak járok utána, hogy mikor és miről értesült a pártvezetés a csernobili atomkatasztrófa után napokban, és milyen hazai intézkedések léptek érvénybe. Végül röviden bemutatom, hogy a magyar lakosság mikor és milyen tájékoztatást kapott a hivatalos közleményekből.

Measures after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the  media representation of the accident in Hungary
From The Chernobyl nuclear disaster of 1986 was a complex case with several aspects: it was a health threat, it showed the technical backwardness of the Soviet Union, and it was also a political issue which still arouses the interest of the public. Due to the accident, the nuclear cloud polluted an area of over 30,000 square kilometers and reached Western European territories as well. The Soviet officials first held back all information, and then denied knowing anything about the accident. Two days later, after many official Western diplomatic inquiries, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (cpsu) issued a short announcement on 28 April, in which they admitted the fact of the disaster. The first insufficient information had a significant impact on the Hungarian information policy, and the communication of the disaster is still a controversial topic in Hungary.
Media representation of the Chernobyl nuclear accident should be analyzed in a complex way considering the local and global political context, the local characteristics of the Soviet communist media system and also regarding the information which was available to the Hungarian political leaders. In this paper I attempt to show how this crisis communication case was managed in Hungary. First, I describe the local characteristics of the media system. Secondly, using official archival sources, I try to reveal what was told by the Soviet officials in the first days and what measures were introduced in Hungary. And finally, I will show when and what was communicated through the stateowned Hungarian media about the disaster.

Чрезвычайные условия способствовали рождению многих актуальных те-
оретических идей. Морально-психологическая обстановка в тылу не была
однозначной. Наряду с патриотическим порывом, охватившим большинство
граждан, имели место панические настроения, дезертирство, нарушение
дисциплины. Были необходимы мощные средства пропаганды и агитации.

Portugal registered the first cases of infection by SARS-CoV-2 on March 2nd 2020. From March 18th, until May 2nd, the country was in lockdown. The situation was always reported by news media, who assumed the responsibility of guiding citizens’ and tried to become a weapon against the pandemic. As the spreading of the virus becomes faster, the news coverage slows down. Nonetheless, throughout the year, journalism keeps highlighting the pandemic. Was the SARS-CoV-2 news coverage a trigger for some change in journalism? This question leads to the present research that includes a survey amongst journalists and an analysis of the Portuguese daily press. The corpus comprises 2933 news pieces and 6350 references to news sources, and the analysis indicates some novelties that might indicate a significant change in the selection of news sources that may contribute to a readjustment of the media public space.

Según Perelman (1982 [2008]), el ejercicio de la argumentación se desarrolla, se adapta y toma formas según la audiencia objeto de la comunicación. A partir de esta premisa podemos por lo tanto comprender que la estructura del texto editado por Yvette Bürki (Universität Bern) y Henriette Partzsch (University of Glasgow), Redes de comunicación. Estudios sobre la prensa en el mundo hispanohablante, incluya un epílogo "Lentes electrónicas sobre la prensa española del s. XIX: en busca de escritoras que vienen de Francia", a cargo de Amalia Sanz, que persigue hacer visible la historia y la circulación de la literatura hecha por mujeres y plantea por lo tanto la necesidad de contar con fuentes que deben ser recuperadas, digitalizadas e integradas a la memoria colectiva en soporte electrónico: "el archivo electrónico selecciona, crea colecciones, etiqueta lo que era invisible y lo trae a la existencia". La contribución de Sanz cumple con la función de epílogo por dos razones: la primera es que se trata de un trabajo que reflexiona sobre los criterios detrás de la digitalización, la selección, migración y producción de contenidos de la prensa en internet, ratificando así su importancia como objeto de estudio para la generación de conocimiento que puede y debe darse no sólo desde el análisis de las prácticas pasadas y presentes, sino también las futuras, con todos los retos epistemológicos e implicaciones políticas que esto conlleva para los investigadores, para las instituciones y para el campo disciplinario. La segunda razón de epílogo es que Sanz problematiza la representatividad de los corpora en un espacio (internet) que permite albergar y manipular grandes cantidades de información: "porque el número de materiales disponibles ha modificado la escala de nuestro trabajo, hemos de vigilar el tratamiento selectivo que el archivo electrónico impone a ese gran número de datos". Lo anterior se traduce en replanteamientos a la manera en que concebimos y ejecutamos la investigación y ratifica el postulado de que "en ciencia no hay totalidad", compelidos así a trabajar desde el nivel de las muestras: "el rigor vendrá de la elección razonada de esos conjuntos de muestras en función de una pregunta previa […] cuántos elementos necesitamos para probar una hipótesis es la cuestión epistemológica por excelencia". De entre esas razones, la segunda encuentra una alineación peculiar con la propia naturaleza de Redes de comunicación. La compilación es en sí misma una muestra, una selección razonada de presencias que resulta cohesionada y coherente a pesar de las ausencias. Ante la incuestionable imposibilidad de abordar la totalidad, Bürki y Partzsch nos ofrecen un recorte que permite observar con detenimiento no el estudio sobre la prensa en el mundo hispanohablante, sino uno de ellos, uno de muchos, uno posible, pues como expresa Sanz en su artículo "trabajamos con posibilidades, no con certezas".

Resumen
Durante las primeras décadas del siglo XX la prensa asturiana deja atrás poco a poco su carácter elitista para buscar un público amplio y asentarse sobre bases más sólidas que en el pasado. Ello se refleja en los contenidos, pero también en las tiradas, maquinaria, organización empresarial y en las posibilidades abiertas por el telégrafo y el teléfono. Todo esto hace que hacia 1923 sea posible referirse a un espacio en el que la prensa puede beneficiarse de una red informativa verdaderamente eficaz, contando con los elementos necesarios para entrar en la modernidad y dirigirse a un público de masas.

XX. mendeko lehen hamarkadetan prentsa asturiarrak gutxika bere izaera elitista alde batera utziko du publiko zabal bat bilatu eta iraganean baina oinarri sendoagoetan finkatzeko. Edukietan islatzen da hau, baina baita tiradetan, makinarian, enpresa egituraketan eta telegrafoak zein telefonoan irekitako aukeretan ere. Guzti honen emaitza gisa 1923rako prentsa benetan eraginkorra den informazio sare batez baliatu daitekeela esan daiteke, eta modernitatean sartu nahiz masa publiko bati zuzentzeko ezinbestekoak diren elementuez horniturik dagoela.

Abstract
In the early decades of the 20th century the Asturian press progressively abandoned its initial elitism in order to reach a wider public and to settle on firmer foundations. This is shown by newspaper contents but also by print run sizes, machinery and corporate organisation and by the extensive use of the new possibilities opened by telephone and telegraph. As a consequence, by 1923 we may say that the media had realised the full potential of a truly efficient and modern communication network and was thus capable of reaching a mass audience.

The main objective of this research is to assess the existence (or lack) of media concentration in the Portuguese dailies newspaper sector, and to evaluate the extension to which this situation may be compromising fundamental society values: freedom of speech and right of access to information. Authors resorted to market indicators, namely total average circulation, number of copies per issue, business volume and advertising investments. These indicators are found to be complementary: some indicators evaluate group position in the readers’ market, whereas other evaluates group position in the general market and the advertising market in particular. Based in this market information, we used quantitative models (HII, CR4 and Noan) to measure de concentration in the newspaper segment. Additionally we tried to demonstrate that to analyze the dailies newspaper concentration situation in Portugal a holist perspective of the media market is needed, using a country context to understand some local characteristics and market structure and political, economic, social and technological dynamics. Additionally, there are evidences that existing concentration indexes are not conclusive because of potential replacement effects in the Portuguese media sector.

This article presents the most important Kashubian media founded after the Second World War: press titles, radio broadcasters, television stations and websites. The given dividing line was admitted for this reason, that only after 1945 Kashubian language had a chance to appear in all means of mass media. Also contemporary perspective tendencies of Kashubian media are included in the article.

Les textes réunis dans ce livre étudient les langages de la stigmatisation et les réponses que des sujets stigmatisés peuvent produire, individuellement ou collectivement, pour s'en défendre. La stigmatisation se manifeste dans les discours d'une société donnée à un moment donné, elle se nourrit d'une culture de la haine et repose sur la construction arbitraire d'une domination. Désigner une différence, attribuer un nom injurieux, assigner un rôle, exclure, légitimer des actes de violence, telles sont les étapes qui scandent le processus de stigmatisation. Classes sociales, genres, origines, couleurs de peau, professions, confessions, appartenances politiques, maladies, handicaps apparaissent alors comme la justification de rejets, de violences symboliques et physiques. Pour lutter contre la discrimination et la ségrégation, des formes multiples de résistances voient le jour qui peuvent s'inscrire dans le registre du politique et du militantisme. Certains groupes se saisissent des mots et des images qui stigmatisent pour les resignifier, et ainsi proposer des représentations qui combattent les préjugés.

Η πτυχιακή εργασία επιχειρεί να εξετάσει τη θεατρική συνέντευξη στον σύγχρονο ελληνικό τύπο όπως αυτή αποτυπώνεται σε τέσσερις μεγάλες εθνικές εφημερίδες. Ως μέρος της πολιτιστικής δημοσιογραφίας, η θεατρική συνέντευξη αποτελεί το σημαντικότερο εργαλείο αποτύπωσης της επικαιρότητας του θεάτρου. Πραγματοποιήθηκε, λοιπόν, οκτάμηνη έρευνα από τον Ιούνιο του 2015 έως τον Φεβρουάριο του 2016 στις εφημερίδες Ναυτεμπορική, Καθημερινή, Το Βήμα και Εφημερίδα των Συντακτών με σκοπό να εξεταστεί η δομή, το περιεχόμενο και οι λειτουργίες της θεατρικής συνέντευξης. Είναι γεγονός πως ο Τύπος ασχολείται με το θέατρο προβάλλοντας, όμως, στην πλειοψηφία πρόσωπα ήδη καταξιωμένα που έλκουν το ενδιαφέρον του αναγνωστικού κοινού. Οι δημοσιογράφοι δομούν τα άρθρα τους με τρόπο διαφορετικό σε κάθε Μέσο κάτι που, ίσως, δείχνει τη σχετική ελευθερία από κανόνες και νόρμες στο πολιτιστικό ρεπορτάζ. Ακόμη, δεν ξεχνούν το Μέσο στο οποίο εργάζονται για αυτό και πολλές φορές επιλέγουν ερωτήσεις και τίτλους με πολιτικό χαρακτήρα. Ο συνολικός αριθμός των συνεντεύξεων που εξετάσαμε αποτυπώνει το ενδιαφέρον του Τύπου για το θέατρο, αποδεικνύουν, όμως, ότι δίνουν περισσότερο βήμα στους ηθοποιούς και λιγότερο στους σκηνοθέτες και τα άλλα θεατρικά πρόσωπα. Τέλος, είναι σημαντικό να ειπωθεί ότι η μελέτη της θεατρικής συνέντευξης στην Ελλάδα δημιουργεί προοπτικές τόσο για τις δημοσιογραφικές σπουδές και την ανάλυση του δημοσιογραφικού λόγου, όσο και για τον χώρο του πολιτισμού και του θεάτρου.

Burak 1920'li yıllarda karikatür çizmeye başlamış, DP iktidarını sert şekilde eleştirmiş, hapisten çıktıktan sonra da bu tavrına devam etmiş, 1960 sonrasında Kurucu Meclis üyeliği yapmış bir sanatçıdır. This article explains why the majority of post-communist Slovak top politicians sooner or later gained ambivalent, often openly negative, sometimes even extremely negative attitudes towards the mass media. Further, this article invents and then categorizes various functions of the media in post communist transformation. These functions of the media sometimes contradicted normative expactations of the media behaviour in a liberal democratic theory. This article puts Slovak case study in a broader framework of post-communist transformation of media system based on a famous Hallin-Mancini comparative study of media systems.

Por que resgatar a memória do punk de Juiz de Fora através da imprensa? Qual a importância dessa memória para entendermos os movimentos de rock da cidade atualmente? São estas as perguntas cruciais de nosso trabalho, que procuraremos responder rememorando as revista Bizzu e matérias do jornal Tribuna de Minas. Observaremos nesses impressos as ideologias do movimento punk e as narrativas sobre o 1º festival de rock de Juiz de Fora, buscando entender como a cena punk se configurava na cidade de Juiz de Fora nos anos 1980 e de que forma essas memórias refletem nos dias de hoje, com a produção do “Festival de bandas novas”, que movimenta a cidade desde 1999.

Este artículo analiza justamente los resortes de la movilización popular durante la llamada “Revolución Restauradora” de 1865 y la Revolución de 1867. En un contexto marcado por los límites a la libertad de expresión y la censura a la prensa impuesta por el gobierno de Pezet, la existencia de una producción periodística regional y el surgimiento de una prensa clandestina en Lima jugaron un papel clave para romper el monopolio discursivo del gobierno. La comunicación de las propias proclamas, actas de adhesión, decretos, partes de batallas y artículos de opinión resultaba fundamental para dotar de legitimidad a cada uno de los bandos antagónicos, por lo que se desató una verdadera “guerra de palabras” que se superpuso a la del campo de batalla. En particular, los boletines de guerra publicados por los ejércitos en campaña, como el de Prado en Arequipa durante la guerra civil de 1867, continuaron la fuerte tradición de publicaciones militares itinerantes que acompañaron a las fuerzas de guerra desde las batallas por la independencia.

Breidel adalah istilah dari bahasa Belanda yang berarti pemberangusan, pelarangan, atau pembatasan terhadap media massa atau produk pers, yang biasanya mengacu pada barang cetakan, seperti surat kabar dan buku. Tindakan ini biasanya dilakukan oleh pemerintah atau organisasi tertentu. Tindakan ini merupakan pelanggaran terhadap kebebasan pers. Contoh pembredelan yang umum dilakukan adalah penyensoran.

Relying on available sources and literature, this article examines the establishment, activities, orientation and destiny of Srpska zastava, a bulletin published by Serbian immigrants in Argentina. It will scrutinize the bulletin's views on the solution to the Serbian Question, as well as its approach toward resolving the Serb-Croat dispute and its attitude toward the new Yugoslav authorities. Close attention has been paid to the links and cooperation the bulletin had with Milan Stojadinović, former Yugoslav prime minister (including foreign affairs) and finance minister, the most prominent figure among the Serbian immigrants.

La Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) es una práctica que surge como consecuencia de los cambios económico-sociales que se producen en la globalización, y de la actuación de la economía a nivel mundial. La comunicación no financiera por parte de las empresas se ha desarrollado durante los últimos años y ha llegado a convertirse casi en un requisito obligatorio. En esta comunicación, el papel que desempeña el medio de comunicación como canal intermediario entre la organización y el usuario es fundamental, así como el profesional que desarrolla esta delicada tarea. Por eso, en este trabajo se analiza en profundidad la labor del medio prensa como vehículo de transmisión, del periodista, del dircom y las implicaciones de este complejo entramado de interrelaciones en el contexto mediático actual.

This article examines the kinds of criminological knowledge and information that were considered in the press during the Hesse election campaign in 2007/2008, in which youth crime played a major role. The present study investigates the integration of information about the possible causes of youth crime into press articles, and examines to which extent information about these causes and motives for engaging in youth crime were considered by the press to be significant in the explanation of youth crime. The other aim of this study is to uncover which types of criminal policy and pedagogy had been reported about, and which of those measures had been regarded as meaningful. To this end, results of a content analysis of articles from two German daily newspapers—the Bild and the Süddeutsche Zeitung—are presented and compared. The present paper investigates how refugees and immigrants are presented by five Greek newspapers that represent all the ideological positions. Corpus linguistics and critical discourse analysis are combined and data are analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. More specifically, the newspapers’ electronic archives are used as corpora, in order to discover how refugees and immigrants are presented and in what context. Additionally, collocations found are cross-checked against general language corpora. Emphasis is laid on whether or not their representation differs significantly from one newspaper to the other. The data collected come from the year 2015, when the continuing war in Syria and the atrocities of ISIS have resulted in the arrival of many refugees and immigrants at the Greek islands of the eastern Aegean Sea. Especially studied are the collocations and the contexts of the texts on the citizenship law voted this year and the words ‘illegal’ and ‘irregular’ that describe their legal status.

AJI bukanlah sebuah organisasi yang berdiri karena landasan -sakit hati‖ akibat pembreidelan 1994. Itulah yang selalu saya tegaskan dalam berbagai forum diskusi jurnalistik. Betul, bahwa AJI secara faktual berdiri pada 7 Agustus 1994, sesudah terjadinya pembreidelan terhadap tiga media -DeTik, Tempo dan Editor-pada 21 Juni 1994. Namun, cikal bakal AJI dan benih-benih kelahiran AJI sudah disemaikan jauh sebelum terjadinya pembreidelan tersebut.

This paper takes a literary, historical and theoretical look at James Joyce's view and treatment of and by the press in the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries. The reason why is simple: because he baffled the critics, especially the Irish critics (Murphy). Although critics and the public recognized Joyce's genius, they were upset by his apparent renunciation of Catholicism and nationalism, as well perceived pornography in his literary style. So the press of his day framed Joyce as something of an "intelligent but mentally perverted fiend" (Murphy).

Between information and image – the function of press photography. Photography is an important element of the contemporary press. It appears in the press from the moment in which the technical capabilities of printing led to his presence. Initially, the primary goal of graphical elements was to give lightness texts and to increase the newspaper. Aesthetic value was dominant. However, today we define a press photograph as a transmission of information. But is it true that press photography still inform? Maybe it is just an illustration?
The aim of this paper is to analyze the function of photographs in the press. They have been distinguish three types of function: information, persuasive and illustration. Analysis included three socio-political events which have been described in Polish newspapers – Charlie Hebdo shooting, presidential elections in Poland and the issue of Syrian refugees.

Resumen
La música fue utilizada como dispositivo de unidad y control en el funcionamiento cotidiano del sistema penitenciario franquista. A través del semanario Redención –medio de comunicación y propaganda, creado exprofeso para el ámbito penitenciario– puede recogerse y analizarse la presencia y funciones de la música en estos centros de represión. En un sistema de información en el que los medios ordinarios daban de lado las cuestiones carcelarias, el semanario Redención se convirtió en una forma marginal y endogámica de darle salida a un problema que se mantuvo en la clandestinidad pese a formar parte del discurso oficial.
En la elaboración del discurso musical oficial, participaron activamente los presos, generando un repertorio de «intramuros» contribuyendo a un corpus de producción propia, construido sobre las bases y patrones compositivos del repertorio de «extramuros» patrocinado por las autoridades en el ámbito penitenciario.
A lo largo del presente artículo se ofrecerá al lector un análisis de las actuaciones y actividades artístico-musicales recogidas en este periódico en la década de 1939 a 1949, como muestra de la presencia de la música y la utilidad con que fue considerada, como medio para la redención intelectual de la pena, así como fórmula reeducativo de la población reclusa en los valores estéticos, «de buen gusto», ideológico y morales de la España de posguerra.

Abstract
Music was used as way of controlling the prisoner’s day-to-day in francoist’s prison system. Through the journal Redención the musical activities can be collected and analysed by the researcher, who can interpret the presence and function of music in these centers of repression. In an information system in which the ordinary means gave prison issues aside, the journal redemption became a marginal and inbreeding way to give out a problem that remained in hiding despite part of the official discourse.  The prisoners contributed to this way of repression and re-education by creating a musical repertoire built on the foundations and compositional patterns of the musical repertoire which was consumed outside the jails. These activities were strongly sponsored by the main authorities in the penitentiary field who were actively involved in the preparation of the official musical discourse.
This article mains to offer the reader an analysis of the musical activities that appears at the newspaper Redención in the decade from 1939 to 1949, as a sign of the presence of music in these institutions and the utility that was given to it in terms of intellectual worth of redemption, as well as a way of re-education in the aesthetic values for the prison’s population, in line with the ideological and moral premises of postwar Spain.

La presente tesis de licenciatura analiza el fenómeno de la discriminación social a través de dos casos muy puntuales ocurridos en la ciudad de Lima en los últimos tres años.

El primer caso ocurrió en diciembre de 2011 y tuvo como protagonista al ciudadano cusqueño Ricardo Apaza, a quien no se le permitió reingresar, tras salir al baño, a una sala de la cadena de cines UVK en el Centro Comercial Larcomar, ya que usaba ropas cusqueñas. Según diversas versiones, el encargado de la sala le dijo a Apaza: “No seas pendejo, ¿tú qué vas a tener entrada, cholito?”.

El segundo, se dio en San Isidro una madrugada de setiembre de 2012, cuando durante la cobertura de un accidente automovilístico, un chico en evidente estado de ebriedad insultó a un camarógrafo de televisión. “Me llega al pincho tu jato, me llega al pincho tu vida, me llega al pincho tu filtro, cholo de mierda”, le dijo ante cámaras, quedando así inmortalizado.

Ambos hechos fueron cubiertos por la prensa local. Esta tesis se ocupa de cuatro diarios: El Comercio, La República, La Primera y Correo. El análisis consistió en una observación de la cobertura que tuvo cada periódico en cada uno de los casos. Se tomaron indicadores como la cantidad de material publicado por cada diario, su longitud y espacio en el diario, así como los contenidos. Así, se obtuvo un panorama detallado de lo que cada medio publicó al respecto de cada caso.

En un inicio se esperó que existiera un consenso en cuanto a la forma de cubrir la discriminación social y una incidencia mediática en cuanto al problema. Lo que se descubrió fue que tal consenso no existe: cada diario tuvo una forma particular de abordar los hechos, de acuerdo a su propia línea editorial. Se encontró además que, si bien hubo cobertura, no existe incidencia mediática para poner freno al problema de la discriminación en el Perú.

Se trata de un trabajo de investigación que busca abrir el campo de estudio del comportamiento de la prensa ante casos de discriminación. Ha sido hecho solo sobre la base del análisis de diarios, por lo que se recomienda ampliar y trabajar a futuro sobre la base de otros medios como la radio y la televisión.

Durante os anos 1970, se não antes, verificou-se nos meios artísticos e intelectuais o avanço de uma cultura de esquerda que, pelo menos nas humanidades, estabelecerá hegemonia acadêmica a partir dos anos 1980. Quer-se aqui reconstituir as principais estações teoréticas desse movimento, conforme ele se deixa aprender nas reflexões sobre o jornalismo de autores como Perseu Abramo, Ciro Marcondes Filho e Adelmo Genro Filho, mas também do pioneiro Nelson Werneck Sodré, figura que se manteve alheia à Universidade.

This paper recounts the modern history of the Bolivian media landscape (print, radio, and television). In addition, it explores the relationship between the country's media outlets and its political system, as well as the the country's biggest private business, who often fully control the country's top private media empires. The study demonstrates how the Bolivian media-political relationship is both indicative of larger trends in Latin American media studies, but also shows how the Bolivian media model is unique in the region. This is especially true in regards to non-profit community media, such as with minor radio stations, as well as religiously affiliated media outlets.

In spring 1943 the Germans ordered a Ukrainian newspaper in Kraków to publish a series of antisemitic articles. This study, based on the newspaper's archives, discusses who wrote what and the generally negative reaction to the series among the Ukrainian intelligentsia. It is not a comprehensive study of antisemitism in the paper. A more disturbing picture emerges from my later article, "Ethnicity and the Reporting of Mass Murder."

This research paper investigates the role of media towards foreign policy issues between Pakistan and Afghanistan. For this purpose, it examines the type of coverage Pak-Afghan relations get in Pakistani newspapers Dawn and The News International, Afghan newspaper Afghanistan Times and Afghan news website Kabul Press. Content analysis of news reports from years 2013 and 2014 is done in order to know the framing of Pak-Afghan relations. Results reveal that Pakistani newspapers give more favorable and positive coverage than Afghan news media which tends to be more critical of Pakistan. Thus it is evident that media of both countries seems to be aligned with the foreign policy of their governments.

RESUMO Este artigo científico tem como objetivo investigar se o poder público está gerenciando corretamente as situações de crise ocasionadas por deslizamentos de terra devido à chuva em Manaus. Para isso foram estabelecidos alguns procedimentos que se dirigiram aos resultados. A metodologia desse estudo exploratório consistiu apenas em pesquisa bibliográfica e na análise dos procedimentos do poder público noticiados na imprensa local confrontada com a literatura especializada no assunto visando explicar o contexto. O resultado constatado foi que o poder público está gerenciando bem as situações de crise ocasionadas pelas ocorrências de deslizamentos de terra devido à chuva na cidade de Manaus no período estudado, janeiro de 2017. Todavia, o poder público precisa dar uma 'resposta' definitiva para acabar com o ciclo vicioso que foi constatado nesse estudo. Palavras-Chave: Gerenciamento de crise, deslizamento de terra, chuva.
ABSTRACT This scientific article aims to investigate if the governmental power is correctly managing the crisis caused by landslides due to rain at Manaus. For this, some procedures were established to direct the results. The methodology of this exploratory study consisted just in bibliographic research and analysis of the procedures of the governmental power reported on local press confronted with a literature specialized in the subject to explain the context. The verified result was that governmental power is managing well the crises caused by the occurrence of mudslides due to rainfall in the city of Manaus in the studied period, 2017 January. However, the governmental power needs to find a definitive answer to finish the vicious cycle that was verified in the study.

This article deals with the relationship between the press and history by looking at the similarities between these two disciplines, trying to destroy the walls that were and still separates them arbitrarily by putting the finger on their common points which manifests in the scholarly collective memory.
It is an enlightening role in depth, because the cooperation between the historian and journalist changes the conditions of peoples and nations by spreading awareness and spreading it by lighting the past in order to understand the present and the moment.
A large number of researchers, media professionals and historians, have been interested in the nature of this relationship, which is destroying in depth the concept of the traditional university institution, which has made the specialization of history a narrow and passive specialty.
The press writings and media coverage have become a source of contemporary history in recording the current events of contemporary societies by virtue of their daily follow-up of political, social and cultural events. this Made the press a partner in the process of history, and makes historians comment on these events by searching in events roots in the past, and the journalists involved in the industry news.

This research aims to bring questions of performativity – which emerged from Philosophy and Performance Studies – into dialogue with the processes of Transitional Justice. To this end, I analyse audiovisual records from the trial of former Guatemalan dictator Efraín Ríos Montt and his intelligence director Mauricio Rodríguez Sánchez for genocide and crimes against humanity committed against the Maya-Ixil population [Juicio Ixil, 2013]. The first genocide trial to be conducted in a domestic court anywhere in the world, this landmark process assembled a diverse cross-section of Guatemalan society to debate the country’s recent historical and political past. These judicial interrogations mediated a dispute that went far beyond the ‘merely’ legal; they staged a reenactment of the struggle of historical memory that framed the counterinsurgency dictatorship of Ríos Montt (1982-83) within the longue durée of colonialism of the Mayan people and reread this tragic history through the legal term of ‘genocide’.
My analysis draws on the deconstructive perspectives of Jacques Derrida, specifically his critique of the metaphysics of presence and the oppositional regime that have organised Western metaphysics and its characteristic ethnocentrism. In analysing the theatricality of this specific judicial ritual, I foreground different levels of complexity concerning the performative and documentary character of human bodies and the performative use of archives. With these, the trial becomes a lens to study the sedimentation of historical tragedies arising from the interventions of the actors in the trial. As such it can offer fresh insights into the putative opposition that has traditionally located performance and bodies in the realm of the ephemeral and the immediate, and understood reproduction and the archive as a terrain of mere repetition and permanence. I begin by interrogating the different forms of writing (écriture), among them, the human body, in order to highlight the documentary, medial and performative role of body surfaces, as well as the performative dimension that defines archives. The complexity that emerges from this interrogation provides fertile ground for thinking not only about the past, but also its role in the present and the future.

presencia temprana en la revista El Regalo de
Andalucía (Sevilla), en 1849, aunque la falta de
ejemplares no hubiese permitido comprobar
la realidad de esta afirmación ni localizar sus
supuestas colaboraciones. En este artículo doy
noticia de varias colecciones de esta cabecera,
describo con detalle la vida de la publicación y
me detengo en sus contenidos para, al final, concluir
que Bécquer no aportó ningún trabajo. Si
no faltan páginas de las colecciones consultadas,
el dato debe ser corregido en la relación de la

In the bibliography on Gustavo
Adolfo Bécquer, his early presence in the
magazine El Regalo de Andalucía (Seville), in
1849, has been traditionally stated, although
the lack of copies did not allow to verify the
veracity of this claim or to locate his alleged
collaborations. In this article I inform of several
collections of this magazine header, I describe
in detail the life of the publication and analyze
its content to conclude that Bécquer did not
contribute with any work at all. If there are
no missing pages in the collections consulted,
the data should be corrected in the list of the
author’s work.
