The learner can recognize and represent the concept of ordinal numbers skills up to 10th in
various forms and contexts.

A.1. Show number flashcards and let them identify the number.
2. What symbol should we use to compare the following numbers? (Write your answer in the air.)

3. Before we start with our lesson for today, we are going to sing a song entitled “Ten Little
Ducks”.
4. Call 10 pupils let them stand in front of the class. They will be in line by their height.
Ask: How many children do we have in front? From Yohan, let us count.
Who is number 1 in the line?
What about number 2 ,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 in line?
If Yohan is in number 1line, what is his position?
 The position of Yohan is First and it can also written as this First as 1st, Second - 2nd,
Third - 3rd up to Tenth - 10th.
 These words and numbers such as first, second, third up to tenth are called
________________.
 We call them Ordinal Numbers. Let everybody say Ordinal Numbers.

B. Let them watch a video clip about the ordinal numbers. Then, let them look at the pictures of these

Ask: What is about the video? What are ordinal numbers? Who are having a race? What animal
is the first, second, third, fourth up to tenth?
C.1. Using the chart of animals. Can you name what are the different animals in the set? From the left,
which animal is the: (Ask pupils alphabetically.)

3. By group: Divide the class into three groups. Each group will be given an activity envelope. You
only must follow what is ask inside the activity envelope. Choose a leader and a reporter in your group.
After 5 minutes you will report your work. Just clap 3 times if you finished your work and shout DONE.
