Hunger - Cake and Bird
Hunger. It was a thing that Cake understood pretty well. It always first feels like an odd pressure in her stomach, annoying but easy to ignore. Then it would grow, starting to feel like oddly warm tar, weird and makes her feel sickly but again, easy to ignore. Then it hurts, that isn't easy to ignore.
But that wasn't what she was feeling, it stuck to the walls of her stomach but it felt heavy, making her core squirm as it crawled into her chest. "Bird? Where are ya?" She called out, scanning the moon lite area.
"Okay, she couldn't have gone far, just keep messaging her." The hybrid thought, gripping onto her arm as she kept looking. She's bound to hear or see something.
It took longer than she'd have wanted, but she heard something, pinging. She froze, staring in the direction it was coming from.

That was all Cake needed, immediately bolting towards the noise like she was caught by the sun.
What she saw was her girlfriend, hunched over a body that was starting to rust over. Freezing as the sounds of chewing filled the oddly quiet night.
Hollowed purple optics staring as the oil in the body came out in clumps from a injury on its stomach. "Why is she eating?" She thought, feeling her body walk towards the blue drone.
"Bird?" She called out, her voice mouse like as she kept approaching. The chewing stopped, the scarred drone lifting her head to look at the other. A stray wire poking out of her mouth as a now too familiar symbol plused on her visor.
She just stared at Cake, her expression blank before she stood up, her movements too clean, too smooth. She was still, not reacting as her girlfriend gently touched her scarred cheek.
Bird could hear her, but her stomach felt like it was filled or made of molt slag. And eating didn't feel much better, well, it did, but barely. She just wanted it to stop.
"Hey, Hey baby Bird? You okay?" Cake asked, watching as the symbol disappeared, holding onto her partner's face as her strange blue optics came back, staring at the hybrid with a tired, baffled expression.
"Hey." She soft purred, worry in her voice as she pressed her forehead against Bird's, soon feeling her doing the same. "Hey..." The blue Solver Drone mumbled, placing her hand on top of Cake's.
