The paper analyzes the process of the industrialization, i.e. deindustrialization of the Serbian economy in the time period after the Second World War until today. In the observed period, two contrary processes have been recorded. Until the beginning of the 1980s, the process of the accelerated industrialization of the economy was taking place. In the structure of the GDP, industry increased its share to around 44%. At the beginning of the 1990s, East European socialist countries and Serbia commenced the process of the transition of the economy and the economic system. In the starting phase of transition, all countries recorded a negative rate of their economic growth, a fall in the GDP and a reduction in the share of industry in the structure of GDP of the economy. Industry 4.0 implementations integrate people, machines, data, technology, and processes and allow organizations to connect through digitization and cloud-based systems. The purpose of the present research is to realize the need and sustainability of digitization and connectivity within the quality management domain in developing countries, which is now called Quality 4.0. In previous research, several Quality 4.0 frameworks have been proposed. However, most of the frameworks are based on philosophy or require vast resources to implement. The aim of this work is to determine the technical and economic feasibility of implementing different reclamation and reuse projects that improve the quality of the Apatlaco river basin located in the central part of Mexico. A special methodology based on a decision support system was developed. This methodology allows to decide if it is convenient or not to finance a reclamation or reuse project for the most common water uses in the basin. This methodology is based on the net present value criteria (NPV) of the effective cash flow during the useful life of the project. The results obtained reveal a technical and economical feasibility for industrial reuse in Jiutepec and for agricultural reuse in Zacatepec and Emiliano Zapata. On the other hand, sanitation projects are not feasible in all cases analyzed. Therefore, Mexican Regulation (Ley Federal de Derechos en Materia de Agua) as currently implemented, does not promote and support this kind of projects.

This study was conducted because a real method for measuring safety climate had never been developed and assessed in Serbian industry. The aim of this paper was to start the process of developing a safety climate questionnaire that could be used in Serbia. As a starting point a 21-item questionnaire was adopted after an extensive literature review. The questionnaire was distributed at several Serbian factories; 1098 workers responded. After a statistical analysis of the data obtained with the questionnaire and a critical comparison with the available reference results, a final questionnaire with 21 questions, divided into 7 groups, was developed. The 7 groups of questions (factors) were safety awareness and competence, safety communication, organizational environment, management support, risk judgment and management reaction, safety precautions and accident prevention, and safety training.

The energy industry is presently experiencing a paradigm shift from the conventional fossil fuel-based system to renewable energy sources in Nigeria and across the globe. Globally and domestically, this shift is termed Energy Transition with the focus being achieving net-zero greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions by 2060. Nigeria committed to this at the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), which further prompted the country to enact the Climate Change Act of 2021. The Energy Transition Plan (ETP) was also launched in 2022 to address the challenge posed by energy poverty and climate change crisis. The plan emphasizes the need and importance of the shift but fails to consider workers in the industry and the possibility of them keeping their jobs in the shifting industry. It supply workers with no legal protection for the incoming dispensation, not even with the enacting of the Climate Change Act. Which, in the face of the present reality needs to be reworked towards achieving the aim of the Paris Agreement of 2015 COP26, which Nigeria is a signatory. Parties to the Paris Agreement adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Goals 1 and 8 of the SDGs are respectively to end poverty and to provide decent work and economic growth, and secure the job of it workers. This research work therefore seeks to examine energy transition in Nigeria, its meaning and impact on our employment laws, an overview of our employment laws was also done, legal protection for workers in our traditional industry and implication of applying same laws on our shifting industries, and importance of having legal protection in place in shifting industries. It primary aim is to provide possible solutions to ensure that workers are being safeguarded legally in our transiting energy industry. To achieve this, primary and secondary sources of information were relied upon. Primary sources being the Constitution of Nigeria, 1 Acts, etc. and secondary source of information which includes articles, books, internet journals, and materials.

The metaverse, a concept of an immersive and interconnected virtual world, is rapidly gaining traction as the next frontier in digital interaction. This article explores the critical role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of the metaverse by addressing key challenges such as interoperability and synchronization. Drawing on recent data and case studies, including Roblox's success and the rise of AIpowered platforms like Crucible and Improbable, the article examines how AI can enable seamless experiences across virtual worlds and optimize network infrastructure for real-time, shared experiences. The article also discusses the ethical and social implications of AI in the metaverse and emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts to ensure responsible innovation. As the boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds blur, the AI-enabled metaverse has the potential to revolutionize various aspects of human life, from education and entertainment to scientific exploration and problem-solving.

This paper describes the technical approach to develop solutions to control manufacturing product quality based on the different supporting services provided by the Zero Defect Manufacturing Platform. Solutions are based on both preventing and inspecting functionalities, relying upon sensor data and other product and process information.

The aims of this paper are to present concept and results of an innovative educational model approach based on ergonomics involvement in industrial project. First we present Cross disciplinary Problem solving Workshop by answering three questions:1) What is a CPW: A partnership between Universities and one or several companies, purposes of it are first to increase health, well being, companies teams competencies, and competitiveness, second to train the "IPOD generation" to include risks prevention in design. 2) How does it work? CPW allows cooperation between experience and new insight through inductive methods. Telecom commerce is a complex and dynamic domain that involves multiple products, services, and channels. Customers frequently encounter challenges when finding, comparing, and purchasing the best options. Traditional e-commerce platforms are not designed to manage the nuances and variations of telecom products, such as compatibility, availability, or personalization. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to revolutionize telecom commerce with AI/ML using 300+ APIs. These APIs enable customers to interact with a chatbot through natural language commands, guiding them through the purchase journey. The chatbot integrates with a commerce platform that handles complex configurations, pricing, credit checks, and encryption using domain-specific APIs. We present diagrams illustrating the system's architecture and argue that this approach enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty while reducing operational costs and increasing revenue for telecom providers.

With the trends in smart technology in Industry 4.0 there have been notable changes in industries as well as towards human resources. This work aims to examine the creation of symbiosis between the human brain and intelligent machines in the area of HRM and Innovation 4.0. The main goal is to perform a bibliometric analysis of the literature, which will reveal emerging research trends, influential authors, pertinent nations, and potential future research directions in the area of HRM and Industry 4.0. Methodology: An extensive bibliometric analysis of 176 articles drawn from the Scopus database was conducted. For analysis, the study utilized Biblioshiny and VOSviewer to identify the research hotspots, subject areas, and emergent trends. We employed co-occurrence and citation analysis to uncover the intellectual structure of research Results: The findings of the study revealed that Industry 4.0 and HRM are vibrant and expanding fields. The adoption of disruptive technologies related to Industry 4.0 is altering workplace culture and HR procedures, enabling organizations to blend human insight with machine-driven analytics, and creating more adaptive, responsive, and financially efficient HR systems. Along with descriptive analysis, the research also unveiled a shift in focus toward sustainable HR practices, emphasizing long-term financial stability and talent retention. Implications: This study has implications for both academia and practitioners by offering new perspectives on human dynamics in Industry 4.0. It not only considers the constant dynamics of Industry 4.0 regarding the subject area of HRM but also highlights the essence of the interaction between disruptive technology and human resource practices in the digital environment. Therefore, the study provides guidelines on the further research direction as well as gaps required to conduct a further investigation of this critical trend of technology and human resources management intersection.

In our present paper, we analyze the accounting aspects of digitalization and industry 4.0 in Hungary. First of all, the accounting profession is a traditional profession and accoun-ting rules and principles are established and have been the same for many years. However, globalization of business, stronger regulations and numerous technological solutions and innovations are not bypassing the accounting profession, either. Challenges for the ac-counting profession are reflected in the need for rapid adaptation and transformation of business practice and business processes without abandoning basic accounting rules and principles. The aim of this paper is to analyze and systematize the key challenges that dig-italization brings for the accounting profession. The paper seeks to examine how, through environmental accounting, the broader context of corporate sustainability could be incor-porated into the developing vision for Industry 4.0, the fourth industrial revolution.

Background: Technetium‐99m radioisotope is the backbone of any nuclear medicine institute. This radioisotope is acquired by the elution of Molybdenum‐99/Technetium‐99m generator which emits 141 keV gamma ray and having 6.04 hour half‐life. Occasionally the contents of Molybdenum‐99 may mix up with elute, which may affect image quality and patients may receive higher doses than recommended. This study was initiated to check and evaluate the contamination of Molybdenum‐99 in Molybdenum‐99/Technetium‐99m generators used at Nuclear Institute of Medicine and Radiotherapy (NIMRA) Jamshoro Pakistan before its administration to patients for diagnostic procedures.
