Operating Modes There are two operating modes that can be selected by microswitches
1. CAR Mode. This mode is for the operation of the TFT module inside the car lift. Floor audio messages Indicates the floor and the lift direction with up/down arrows
2. LANDING Mode. This mode is for the operation of the TFT in the landing. The TFT module number is identified by microswitches and every module responds to the information sent to it. It indicates the lift direction with up/down arrows. Audio gongs with 1,2 or 3 tones depending if going up, going down and when doors opening.
Connection and Implementation

Configuration of the module
There are two ways for the configuration of the module:
1. Hardware.
It can be made using microswitches.
Bits (DSW1) Function
1…5 Binary Codification for the module in the Landing mode. MSB(1)-LSB(5). 6 For selection between LANDING (Off) or CAR (On) modes. 7 8 For 180 º rotation of the display information (On).
Buttons function. Button Function SW3 Increase audio volume SW5 Reduce audio volume SW4 Testing purpose SW3 & SW5 Date and Time selection
2. Software.
Using dedicated software for PC application is it possible to select and modify the text and audio messages, as well as the images to be displayed. This is a description of the PC software.

SD CARD CONFIGURATION for MD-090 module
1.- Start the program MD090_Config.exe 2.- Program will ask us to choose between create a new configuration or edit an existing configuration.
3.- In both cases it will ask to us to choose the unit (of the SD device card reader) or the directory where it is or we want to create a new configuration.
3.a.- If we chose to create a new project, after copy several files it will indicate us that the configuration by defect was saved. 3.b.- If we chose to open an existing configuration we will guide to him until the configuration.ini file
4.- It will appear the main screen:

This screen is compound of three eyelashes that will allow us to choose different fields from the configuration. In the right lateral panel we have the possibility of creating a new project, to modify existing one, to save the configuration, and to exit of the program. The UNICODE editing file button will be commented later.
5.- TO CONFIGURE the plant messages.
In the first column we will be able to input the text associated to the corresponding level. In the second column we will be able to do the same. The messages by defect appears in both columns in codified format. The codification means the following:

It indicates that from the “messages.txt” file (that is in UTF-8 format and that contains UNICODE characters) the message of line 1 will be used. The first line is numbered zero. Each line contains the messages in all the languages supported separated by a tabulator. The second field will indicate that will be used the 4th language (Arab). What appears after 2nd symbol @ is only a clarifying commentary.
Keeping this format, language in lines 1 and 2 can be changed automatically.
We can mark the squares of “Not messages” if we want that lines 1 or 2 do not appear.
6 .- TO CONFIGURE the audio message of each plant (cabin mode).
It can be done with the third column (Audio file). It allows choosing the file with the audio message from a list of predefined messages. You can also, choose a nonstandard audio file. The name of the file goes accompanied of a clarifying text in English with the content of the audio message. When changing the language the standard audio messages will change to the chosen language. Evidently the language of nonstandard messages will not change.
7.- TO CONFIGURE the images associated to plant.
You can choose the images files (.BMP or .JPG) that will be shown when changing level. The images must have a resolution of 500x300 pixels. It is possible to show the images in two modes: with a delay time (temporized) and associated to the floor level.
8.- In the second eyelash (Fashion/Languages), at the box “Select audio languages to be speaked” we can change the language of lines 1 and 2. We can also decide if we want audio messages in the selected language.
9.- Select image behaviour. The behavior to show the images can be choosen between: 9.a) Associated to floor level. Whenever the floor level changes, will change the image. 9.b) Temporized. (Random images) The delay time between images can be selected. Every picture will be shown during the defined delay time.
10.- Select Fonts to be used. It allows to change the fonts that will be used to print the plant digits (Floor), arrows (Arrows), text of the lines (Text) and date (Date). The size of the chosen fonts must be verified in the module, not having to exceed the display area that they have reserved. This is an advanced option. The size of the fonts automatically changes when changing the size of digits.
11.- Size of digits. It allows choosing the size of the digits between three options.
12.- Date format selection. It allows selecting if date and time is shown and in what format.

13.- Select arrows. It allows changing the arrow set to be used between several available ones. These are:

14.- Select coloured theme. It allows to choose between several predefined combinations of colors for the background images. The images that appear do not change with the chosen options; they only give an idea of how the screen will be seen.
15.- In the third eyelash (Special images) it is allowed to choose the image that will appear with the special messages and the associated text. The message of audio is defined by defect and will sound in the chosen language.

16.- Once chosen the options we can save the configuration. The necessary files will be copied in his destination.
