“i have a eeny little question for you,” you squeaked, smiling brightly. caleb looked surprised before shaking his head and putting down his wrench. “okay, hit me.” he seemed smug. he was a mister know-it-all of course, so surely he knew the answer.

you smirked, yours finger waving around “okay! touch your toes.” you giggled, caleb shot a look of question but did it without asking anything, bending down down and touching his toes.

“okay— now spell run.” you giggled.

For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)

They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.

“You’ll call me right? I know you said Tara and the girls are over but, didn’t they spend the weekend with you already?”

Caleb whined on the other end of the line, his hopes of seeing you tonight were high. He came from Skyhaven early in the weekend with intentions of seeing you, however his plans fell short when you told him you already had plans with some of the hunters for a little ‘girls sleepover’ to celebrate finally finishing off some missions.

However you did promise him that you’d try to get some free time around night time when things were over, and it just so happened to be that you and the girls were cleaning up the place before they officially leave the fun well spent weekend behind.

“Yes Caleb. I’ll call you once they leave, in which that would be soon but I need both hands to continue cleaning up.” you sigh as you struggle trying to pick up empty bottles and plates to place into the trash bag you held with your free hand.

“It would be quicker if a certain someone would just wait for me to finish my task at hand and let me call him back once I’m alone and not busy. You know, instead of begging me to call him back,” you teased.

“Don’t be like that pipsqueak, just shoot me a text and leave your key under the mat. I can’t wait to see you…” Caleb’s bottom lip was tucked under his teeth at the thought of seeing you again.

He truly loved every moment he got to see you, the thought of what you’re wearing right now, how you’d greet him with a warm hug, or even how you'd jump into his arms.

“Okay, I’ll see you soon, colonel.” A smug grin that he couldn’t even see but heard clearly through the phone appeared onto your lips as you free your phone from your ear, ending the call and tossing your phone onto the couch.

“Let me guess, Caleb? She’s so smitten by the Farspace Fleet’s Colonel, ugh! I wish I had someone like him.” Tara spoke as she scrubbed the last few dishes, placing them carefully in the dish rack after rinsing them.

“There will be someone soon for us Tara, for now, let’s hurry up so we can leave them to it. It’s like his third or fourth time calling her about coming over.” Simone said giggling as she folded the couch blanket before placing it neatly back in place. “You totally need to keep us updated with details after he leaves.”

You scoffed and rolled your eyes while picking up the last of the trash on the floor and table. “Puh-leas. Nothing is gonna happen besides us cuddling and watching a movie. Which is our normal routine, just a casual chill vibe.”
