The Nice Guys 2016
A buddy cop movie—without the cops, without much “buddy,” and with a generous helping of porn.
The plot is strangely complex for what’s essentially an action comedy, filled with side quests that should build character depth, but I just didn’t care enough about them to feel invested. That said, the film had just the right mix of action and comedy to keep me from getting bored or annoyed.

Ciao Alberto 2021
After watching Luca, I was still craving more from these characters—and Ciao Alberto was a nice little bonus, but ultimately still left me wanting more.
This short is, well… too short. I would’ve loved to see more of Alberto’s life following the events of Luca. While it’s a sweet and charming glimpse into his new world, it feels more like an after-credits scene than a full-fledged short.
Don’t get me wrong—it’s nice. But I’d much rather see a proper sequel than this tiny slice of life.
