Don't Go in the House 1979
This one kind of bridges the gap between Deranged and Silent Night, Deadly Night.
A bridge probably wasn’t needed and this doesn’t reach the heights either of those do, but it’s not without charm. There was only a brief period in time where they made movies that feel like this and I love it.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
The only thing that the movies in this series can seem to agree on is that the original incident occurred on August 18, 1973. For as long as I’ve loved this movie, I don’t think I’ve ever watched it on this date.
