Before you participate and assist in the task related to apps, first enumerate the apps you
already know and have probably tried. Explore the Pedagogy Wheel and learn at least five more.

Google Meet The Google Meet app contains a lot of features that are ideal for the
teaching and learning process. Teachers can utilize this platform
when they plan to conduct synchronous class by simply creating or
scheduling a meeting, then sending the link to the students through
Gmail or messenger so they can be able to join. Teachers then can
present lessons using this platform and students can actively engage
themselves in the learning process. It also allows students and
teachers to see each other, which I think is one of the important
factors that makes learning more fun and satisfying for both of
them.
Zoom Zoom also has features similar to Google Meet. In fact, they are one
of the most widely used apps in teaching and learning because they
are convenient to use. It is very useful in the sense that teachers
utilize this platform to deliver their lessons effectively and
efficiently. In terms of learning, there's a feature on this that lets
students engage in the class discussion wherein whenever they want
to recite, ask questions or share their ideas with regards to the
lesson, they can raise their hand. They can also use the chat box to
interact with each other. The Zoom app is indeed useful for both
teachers and students, as it allows them to connect, learn, and grow.
Google Classroom The platform integrates with Google’s other tools like docs, drive
forms, meet and calendars, so there are many built-in “shortcuts”
for classroom-management tasks. For example, if you post an
assignment with a due date, it’s automatically added to your
students’ class calendar for them to see.

How does this connect with what you know about selecting and using apps?
In online platform it is essential to have a reliable app to use and to of course it is easy to
manipulate. For me it does connect to what I have known about selecting and using apps.
They are in need to know, as a future educator I presumed that all this application I know
is that I could handle it all. But the problem is that we are not only referring to us
educators but also to our students if they can access or they can use it that is why I choose
the app that is usable and easy to handle.

After you participated or assisted in the use of apps in teaching-learning, describe what
you observed and experienced by answering the items below
1. Describe how you or the teacher utilized the apps. Narrate your experience as you
participated and assisted.
We utilized the app by helping each other. Guiding one another in order to use the
app successfully. We also searched on the internet on how to manipulate it. But as
you open the app, there are procedures or command that easily understood by the
user. My experience as I participated and assisted is glad at heart and interesting.
We use Google Meet as teaching-learning app. We experienced failure because
one of the classes I attended, the teacher panickily searching what is wrong
because it echoing and disgusting to the ears. Secondly how she could present her
PowerPoint presentation that is why she assigned my co-FS student to present.
Lastly, internet connection plays a vital role in this kind of scenario. Sometimes
the teacher/resource teacher cannot deliver smoothly the lesson because it is cut
and the class disturbs because students keep on bothering why the teacher stops
discussing.
The main point here is, in order to see the app successfully, there must be
knowledge on how to use it, guidance by those who know it. Looking for a strong
internet connection for the succession of delivering the lessons.

3. What would you have done differently? What would I change? What will make it
better next time?
I would still have done the same, the usage of the application is very easy and
optimal for academic related activities, as such, students find the online platform
used in conducting the activity interesting and educational friendly. The only

4. How does this connect with what you know about selecting and using apps?
Before learning this episode, our ideas about apps for online class is limited. We
realized that we only know how to use the app as a student but not as the facilitator of
the class. Therefore, we could say that this episode is beneficial for us, as future
teachers in a way that it had helped us to discover the things we must know as the
facilitators of online class like creating a class or producing a link for us to be able to
meet virtually, admitting students in the class and the right ways on manipulating the
different kinds of apps for virtual class. Prior to this episode, we already experienced
screen sharing when reporting but as we explore, our skills and knowledge in
discussing online or in virtual meeting has improved not just as the reporter but as the
facilitators. As a matter of fact, this episode is not just about how to manipulate apps
but also how to handle our students online. We are also able to come across the things
we have to consider when handling high school students just like situations wherein
students are sharing in one device just to attend in the virtual meeting.

3. What can I do to learn more about and practice the use of educational apps?
Using educational applications is a crucial part of online learning. It needs a lot of
knowledge about the technology, application, and the manner of using it. And if
you are living in a traditional setting it would be difficult for someone. To
expound my ability to learn about this medium, I need to read more about this one
and make some practice on how to use it. Probably, by doing reviews or tips on
the internet might do a thing or two. There are a lot of resources the can be found
