Life For Gaza 2: Each Cent Counts, Quenching the Thirst of Humanity in Gaza City

The Gaza Municipality is tasked with providing vital services such as water supply, waste management and sewage treatment. However, the widespread destruction in Gaza City has severely hampered the Municipality's ability to deliver even the most basic necessities to its residents. With limited access to water, the population faces a dire health and environmental crisis, especially affecting children.

By joining forces in this initiative, we cultivate hope and solidarity, fostering empathy and collaboration across communities while easing the hardships endured by those in Gaza. This collective effort reassures them that they are not alone in their struggle. The Gaza Municipality earnestly appeals for your support to help reinstate essential services, currently the foremost priority. In the northern regions of the Gaza Strip alone, over 500,000 individuals urgently require these services.

Where your donations will be directed:

  • - Water supply enhancement projects
  • - Maintenance of water wells
  • - Implementation of water desalination initiatives
  • - Management of waste collection and disposal systems
  • - Reconstruction of roads demolished during war
  • - Implementation of sewage water pumping and treatment schemes
  • - Execution of pest control and rodent eradication programs

With your support, we can:

  • - Enhance water provisions for residents and maintain consistency.
  • - Manage the collection and disposal of accumulated waste throughout the city.
  • - Address sewage overflow and sanitation issues across various areas of the city.
  • - Initiate the reopening of key thoroughfares to facilitate emergency vehicle access.
  • - Clear debris from the cityscape to restore ease of movement for residents.
  • - Provide aid to the personnel of the Gaza Municipality Emergency Committee.

We’ve lost everything. Our home has been destroyed, and we are left with nothing. Our children are in desperate need of warmth, shelter, and food.

How you can help:

Donate to provide shelter – We need a safe place for our children to sleep.

Donate food – We are in dire need of nourishment for our family.

Donate blankets and clothing – To keep our children warm in these harsh conditions.

Every donation counts, no matter how small. Your support means the world to us as we try to rebuild our lives from the ground up.

For today's Gazan fundraiser that needs attention, I'd like everyone who sees this post to please give this a reblog and/or donate to the fundraiser below, which belongs to @musabahmad2 . Theyre only 3% raised of their goal, and things have been rather slow going for them.

They have been vetted by Gazavetters and are listed as #520 on the list, so you have no worries that they are genuine, and they are.

Due to famine and lack of food, my pregnancy has become more difficult, and my hemoglobin level is very low.

The doctor told me to take care of my diet, but we have no income to afford food.

Please, my friends, your donation can save my life and the life of my baby.

As of 4:51 am on Thursday, 27 March, the ICE locator database does not currently list Alireza Doroudi's location. Why? Doroudi is a PhD student of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama.@DropSiteNews

DHS spokesperson responds to my questions on Doroudi by saying “ICE HSI made this arrest in accordance with the State Department’s revocation of Doroudi’s student visa. This individual posed significant national security concerns.” No other details were provided @DropSiteNews

Please, please, look at my donation campaign and help me. I have newborn children and my son Ahmed needs treatment. He is a heart patient and suffers from two holes in the heart. He needs help and treatment. We do not have money and we are stuck in Egypt because of the Gaza war. My wife and I lost my jobs and there is no source of income. I would like you to help. To care for my children and provide the necessary treatment for my child Ahmed, please donate even a little thing to save my child’s life

How many of you have plans for your future? Do you have a career that you're working towards, and goals you hope to achieve? Do you have younger members of your family that you hope to see grow up safe? Do you want to start a family of your own?

Even if you're not sure about your future, the knowledge that you will have one is a privilege many of us take for granted. Amidst a violent occupation, Palestinians have tried to build futures and lives for themselves, and have been very successful. But recently, many people have found it hard to hold onto their dreams as their home is destroyed all around them, and their pleading with the world to help them falls on apathetic ears.

The fundraisers that you see shared on here are these families lifelines, but recently I've noticed that people have completely stopped caring about them. This is not normal and it's not okay!! If you are exhausted, I need you to consider how exhausting it is to live through it! Every fundraiser you see is a real person. These are not just games of getting numbers to go higher. These are people's hopes of survival, hopes for the future, hopes for their children. The way you react to these campaigns has a real effect on these people, has a real effect on their ability to believe in a better future and hold onto hope.

Your alliance with the Palestinian people has to be material and concrete. My friend Dina has been struggling severely to see a future for her children as her campaign goes ignored and her pleas for help are met with silence. Her children won't survive on your well wishes, they need actual help. Please don't stand idly by while this genocide continues. You may have seen the horrific crimes occurring every day in Gaza but you haven't seen how my friend fears for her and her children's lives every time a new horror occurs. Only you, through your support and care, can restore her hope for the future.

$15,376 / $50,000

Please, whoever has mercy on my children, donate to save their lives. Every time they are ignored and neglected, it kills them. I don’t want to lose them. 🙏💔😭

This is Hossam’s team, and we are sharing his final message :

“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.

By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.

I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.”

— For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza
