A year ago, near the beginning of the war, Suham's arm was broken. Due to the lack of medical supplies, she was not able to get the medical care she needed as she healed. As a result, her bone welded incorrectly, causing chronic issues and pain.
Throughout the winter, these issues have only worsened. The weather is terribly cold, and there is heavy rain and wind. The cold worsens Suham's injury, increasing her pain and struggles.
Suham needs surgery to repair the bone in her arm. The longer she goes without it, the worse her condition will get. Without timely treatment, she is at risk of losing her arm entirely.
However, the surgery Suham needs is very expensive, and donations keep stopping for days at a time. If this continues, Suham and her family won't be able to get the basic needs required to survive this genocide, let alone afford the surgery Suham needs.
Suham is just a child, and she has gone through more pain and fear than anyone should have to suffer. Both she and the rest of her family are exhausted, hungry, and cold. They have been living through over a year of genocide.
Please, share and donate. Help Suham get the surgery she needs! Anything you can give, even just £5 or £10, makes a difference.
If you cannot donate, there is another way you can help. Hashem Bader, Suham's uncle, needs help sharing this campaign in order to raise money to provide for both Suham and the rest of their family. If you are able to help Hashem with writing and/or publishing post about his campaign, please feel free to let me know in the comments or reblogs of this post, or contact Hashem at @hashembadr. Any assistance you can give would be big help for Suham, Hashem, and their family.
