this morning, the elective students from Oman flew back to their country. it has been wonderful meeting them. i learnt a lot of new things.

i want to write more but i just don't have the mood. maybe some of those mood disorder lecture and all the rest of the psychiatric lectures are rubbing off on me.

anyways, i need to say thanx to a couple of peeps.

another wedding and my current obsessions

azza and i made an effort to go to kak farah's walimah in PJ becoz she's helped us a lot throughout the 3 years we were her juniors and next door neighbours. we also got to meet up with the fresh graduates and housemans-to-be.

apparently kak farah's house is nearby to kak nurhani's house so she dropped by. when kak nur knew i was going to kak ngah's house, she said she'd come along. yay, a free ride, didn't have to go by the comuter. kak nur is one cool-headed driver. tenang je dia.

we had to get nawaz who was sick at that time out of the house. the sun did him some good. aisyah tu biasa lah. sape2 je nak keluar rumah dia nak ikut. takde stranger anxiety langsung.

p.s a friend of mine asked why i and a few other friends were obsessed with our nephews and nieces. well, u'll just have to have one to understand eh.

4th year

today, i start my 4th year. 3 of my friends have to repeat the 3rd year. May Allah give them courage and strength to keep on going and struggling in this field.

being in 4th year means that i've already gone thru 5 years of study in this chosen field including matriculation. 3 years already in kuantan, wow. 2 years to go then i have a Dr in front of my name. just thinking about the responsibility that comes with it is overwhelming. tak pe, i'll cross each bridge when i reach it.

the 4th year groupings list came out this morning. i'll start with community medicine and family health. i'm in the same group as sibah, faizah, aida, adlina, najwa, kak farah n many more yg best2. tak berpisah jugak dgn azim, ihfaz and fahmi. also a few ppl yg i'm not so close to but i have the whole year to get to know them better. asma', aishah and syahadah will start with orthopaedics.

we had the introduction to forensic medicine today by Dr Zahari. He's the forensics specialist in-charge of the east coast covering Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. best dgr his lectures. then we had 2 lectures by Dr Nurliza on forensic anthropology, a study of the human bones. terer lah doctor ni. but, as always, i syahid di suku masa terakhir. however, ramai gak kengkawan yg syahid gak so takde lah terasa sgt :P i don't think i'll be taking up forensics in the future but it is certainly an interesting field.

just arrived in kuantan... again

i'm back in kuantan again. came back last friday and helped out with safura and nizam's walimah on saturday then petang tu pergi KL tido rumah my classmate Hana. today, me, asma', azza and hana went to Julia, my medic classmate's wedding in PJ. meriah giler. Julia's mom is sooo like her. sempoi giler mak Nab tu.

johor-kuantan-PJ-kuntan. i am way way tired right now.

i had a wonderful break at home with my sisters and nephews and niece without brother in-laws. best giler. tak payah pakai tudung at home.

tomorrow i start 4th year. 2 weeks of forensics and 2 weeks of psychiatry insyaAllah. then we start our main postings.
