OK, I think I may have found a SAL (Stitch A-Long) that I can keep up with next year.
It's Daffycat's TUSAL (Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long). All I have to do is post a picture of my ort jar every new moon in 2011 - even if I have not added any orts since the last new moon.

Christmas Cardinal

Kay in PA (on the 123Stitch message board) posted a picture of her Christmas Cardinal and then shared a link to the newsletter that offered it as a free chart. I couldn't wait to start stitching it and I am happy to announce that it is done.

Waxing Moon Designs Primitive Stocking

Rhonda on the 123 Stitch message board sent me this chart after I admired the stitching she did for 3 of her friends. I didn't include the words "Merry Christmas" in this finish but I am under a push to get it finished as an ornament of some kind before Christmas. Perhaps the next time I stitch it I will stitch the words, too.
