Progress on WIPs

This is a chart I ordered from Olenka's Stitches Designs a couple of years ago. If you send her an email (in her profile) she will tell you how to order her designs. Please check out her blog as her pictures show how very pretty her designs are.  This is going to be a biscornu some day.

I have 6 more ornaments to stitch and I believe I have finally decided how I am going to finish these...I won't know for sure until I actually give it a try, though











I had a visit from the frog for a while when I thought I had finished New York - I cut his visit short but it required making the apple box 1 row of stitches bigger. I am happy with it as it looks like it can actually hold the bounty of apples in it.




All in all, it's been a wonderful couple of weeks of stitching for me.

I finally finished this very old wip today - I don't remember when I started stitching this but it was after 2000. The charts are in the Jan/Feb 1986 issue of Cross Stitch and Country Crafts.

To Stitch or Not to Stitch Round Robin

EDIT 04/12/11 :  I have finished stitching and drawn a number of the next stitcher.  Random Number Generator picked number 1 and that is commenter

EvalinaMaria.  I have sent an email requesting her address so I can mail it to her.  This was such a fun stitch and thank you to Barbara for starting this round robin.

 Here is a picture of the Potted Flower I stitched with the lovely floss that Barbara sent with the chart.  This will either become a pin cushion or a biscornu - as soon as I can make up my mind.

EDIT 04/05/11 : The chart has arrived! Barbara sent the prettiest Sea Green Needlepoint Silk floss and I love stitching with it. Barbara drew my name to start her Round Robin of the Sweetheart Tree Mini Quaker Pincushion. As soon as I receive it I will stitch it and then draw a name from everyone (you must have a blog) who posts on this message so it can travel to the next person along with a skein of floss.  Leave a comment here if you would like to stitch this lovely design before you send it (with floss) to the next stitcher you choose.
