Bluework Baby quilt finished

I just finished quilting and binding this baby quilt (approximately 42" x 52").  I haven't washed it yet so technically I shouldn't be calling it finished until it comes out of the dryer still in one piece.
I call it bluework because I embroidered the little blocks with blue thread instead of red thread when I did the embroidery.
I found the pictures on line or in coloring books about 7 years ago when I was sure my daughter was going to have a baby boy. When I found out it was was actually a sweet little grand daughter on the way I put this top aside to make a different quilt for her.
I will now give this to my daughter to either keep or give as a gift in one of the many baby showers she will be attending this year.
It certainly feels good to finally finish this.

Baby quilt top

I just finished this pink baby quilt top for a friend of my daughter.
I used some of the fabric I won in a drawing from Val Laird (along with some pink and peach Moda Marbles and a White on White outer border) - the top measures 44 inches square.
Click here to see a picture that I posted earlier of the fun prize package I received from Val Laird.

This quilt top was inspired by a quilt that I saw on Ebay called  Market Square (Original design by Sweet Jane's Quilting and Design).
