Mothers Day finish

I made a Mothers' Day Tree for my Mom years ago with my oldest grand daughter's name at the bottom.
When my mom died it was given to my daughter and the youngest grand daughter always asked why there was not one done with her name so I decided to make another tree this year.
I wanted it to look different so I had saved a cherry tree covered in cherry blossoms that I found years ago on a french web site and since pink is her favorite color it seemed to be perfect.
Now I just need to find a frame and get it finished before Mothers Day

Easter Finish

What a wonderful day!  I was concerned that my Easter project would not be finished until after Easter due to a brief visit from the frog.  But LOOK, I did manage to finish before Easter after all.

Easter WIP Progress

This is moving right along and I am enjoying this project.
I had a little trouble understanding the back stitching instructions for the center but I ended up using 1 strand to backstitch the cross stitching in the letters.  I then used 2 strands to backstitch the lines that made up some parts of some letters and the swirls.
I know there are several mistakes that I have made but I really can't see them so they aren't bothering me at all.
I was going to stitch a Christmas project next but I may do a Mother's Tree for my youngest grand daughter before I start that.
I never really know what I am going to do next until it's time to start something.
