I was a member of a German dollshouse club...and the valet stand was a club project..
Now I have decided to made some accessories for it....yes I have a lot of unfinished projects (ufos)..haha
The leather shoes are handmade by my friend Bärbel...

I bought these little kitchen furniture on a dollshouse fair in Arnhem ...first I will finish/paint all the furniture and than I will create my dream kitchen...

A towel rail for the kitchen

I made a little towel rail for my kitchen....and later I tried to pimp it.
I have written the Dutch names for glasses, hands, plates and knives....so it is easier to find the right towel.....

1:144 Dutch Baby House / a dollshouse for the dollshouse

Here are 2 photos of my Dutch Baby House. It was an unpainted cabinett from Euromini...and now it looks so..
It was a lot of work..nearly all furniture are kits from Volker Arnold, Germany and some of them I have made (I used tiny pieces of wood and paper...I found the wallpaper on the internet...I used also tiny tiny beads (with no holes), ornaments, fabrics...and it is my first 1:144 scale project....
I will create a little extra room only for this cabinett in my dollshouse....with not so much other minis in the room. I think this cabinett is my best mini!!!!

On the second photo you see my little "power plant"...there is a little light for each room.....

I mixed a little bit umbra paint and
patina...yes I love old dirty minis...

cellar selves part 3

So here is a update of the cellar selves incl. vegs, fruits and pastries...(all of them are a souvenir from Thailand (a big thanks to Jim..))
I painted all the ceramic minis with matt varnish and a little bit of soft-pastel chalks....
On the second photo you can see a "transformed" veg and on the right side a original one...I think they use to much glossy varnish..all vegs & co. are in canvas baskets

I made this little wicker basket for the laundry.....of course with dirty briefs...clothes-pegs (toothpicks)and detergents....

Chair with woven seat

This was an unpainted chair (EM 9726/N1)...and now it looks so..
I painted the chair and my friend Annette made a new woven seat.....
It is for the laundry...
The little ATA ad is also for the laundry but I will make it older (with patina)...

Chrysnbon Parlor Pump Organ & Stool Kit Part 2

So I think the organ looks better now. I made the golden ornaments a little bit darker (I used a little bit brown paint and my fingers) and I glued the velvet on the pedals. I also made the golden candelsticks..at the moment I can't find the legs of the stool...I saw them some weeks ago....

Kitchen printies

Today I have not so much time for minis and so you see here a little mini project:

Some months ago I bought these little glas bottles in a bargain store (10 bottles for € 1,99 - normal person use it for their fingernails. For the jam I use some window colours and some fruit slices (nail art). That's it! For the top you can use some fabric. I found these little jam stickers in the internet....

Mini-Fleurop

On saturday there was a little mini-fleurop parcel in my letterbox. Now I have 3 more tulips for my vase and there was also a second little surprise for me: 2 cupcakes.
Thanks a lot Yvonne! That's really super. 2 cupcakes for me without calories (I killed so much chocolate santas..so it is time to go out with my bike.....)

Kitchen sink

This is my next kitchen project: my kitchen sink
I removed the doors, the metal bowl.....I painted everything in brown & cream. I found a new bowl (an 1 portion jam container) and I will also use one part of a press button for it......later I will make also some curtains for it
For the working top I used normal grey and later a grey granite paint

The kitchen sink pump is a kit from Warwick Miniatures

Kitchen furniture

Today I was lazy and so I made only some handles (I used golden pins & beads) and glued some drawer pulls on the furniture.

X-mas swap 2010

Chrysnbon Parlor Pump Organ & Stool Kit

I won this Chryssbon organ kit on ebay for 4 US$!!! I used Humbrol Enamel paint (gold & brown). But I will make the gold a little bit older and I will glue a little bit brown velvet on the pedals. I bought also some lamp kits from Bindels Ornaments.

I bought this one on a dollhouse fair (in Armhem) and yes at the moment it looks terrible...
I used wood stain and now I will make it older....
Later I will make some "canvas" baskets for the fruits and vegs.

Flower Power

At the moment I have enough from all the snow! Here are some miniflowers/plants:

a fern with 93 fronds and a hydrangea. It was really a lot of work but I am satisfait with my "first" big flowers/plants. I think I will add some patina on the flower pots (they look so new!).

Globe Part 2

I glued a woodie (craft store)in the ball (buttom side)and painted everything black. Then I will varnish the printie. The biggest problem for this project is to find the right "bead"!

Globe Part 1

This is a project by the "Dollshouse Magazine" issue 86.
But I did it a little bit different. For this project I
bought a globe (EM9069/H) by Eurominis. I try to remove
the old uggly colour, painted the wood with stain (by Clou)
and put a golden paper ornament on it. I also painted the ornament.
Then I cut a table tennis ball........

Tulip vase

On this blog you will see the assembling of my new dollshouse: a Dutch canal house and also some accessories for the house.

Tulips are typical for the Netherlands so I start with a tulip vase. The tulips are a present from my German minifriend Yvonne. Vielen Dank Yvonne! I bought the vase from Stella Que Passa.
