French House / part 17 Wallpaper Bedroom update

French House - part 16 Wallpaper / Bedroom

Here is an update of my French House.

Yesterday I glued 1 cm cardboard stripes and wallpaper in the bedroom.

I painted the edge of the stripes white....

so I have later no paint on the wallpaper.

I hope to finish the walls this weekend...

French House - Bedroom Floor part 15

Today I have done the wooden floor in the French house.

It is a self-adhesive floor by Euromini.

I also put woodfiller in the gap.

 

Tomorrow I will cut a lot cardboard-stripes.

I need longer ones for this house so I cut them first

and the rest is for the French Shopping Centre.

French Shopping Paradise - Cornice and White Walls

 

 

Here is a update of my French Shopping Paradise.

I have done cardboard-cornices and painted the walls white.

I am not sure if I have later a hanging lamp in the shop....maybe only walllamps.

French Shopping Paradise - Covering the walls part 3

 

 

I have have finished the rest of the walls (also the missing part over the window).

 

For my dolls houses I use a lot of cardboard.....later it looks like real wood.

 

I really like to work with cardboard it is inexpensive

(I collected it for free in my localdiy-shop)

and I can cut it with a scissors).

French Shopping Paradise - Flooring part 1

 

 

I have finsihed the first floor of my French Shopping department store.

I used only sandpaper for the floor.

 

Later I will wax or varnishing it. I am not sure about paint.

glue wooden stirs on the plastic floor.

This week I received a kid's loom weaving kit by Monika.

 

I am really happy about it.

French Shopping Paradise - Covering the walls part 1

 

Today I will cover the walls of my French Shopping Paradise with cardboard.

First I tought I can put the wallpaper directly on the walls.

Unfortunalety I have problems with the old wallpaper. It is d-x-fix (lamination).

So later noone can see the old paper.

I have done a little paper scene ( a playing girl with her toys).

It is 2, 5 cm wide.

Candle-Bath

 

I found a little candle-bath for € 1,59 in my local KIK shop.

 

The ceramic bath is available in light grey and white.

 

I think it is a bargain.

 

I am not sure if I use it later for one of my projects....

 

maybe I will use it as a jewellery container.

TOY SHOP

The shop is 34 cm wide (not very big or)?

 

I need a lot of space for the dollshouses and paper theatres.

 

Maybe I put them in my antique shop (also a future shop....).

New kits / X-Mas Presents

 

 

Today I received my x-mas present......

 

my family has always problems to find the

 

 right minis...so I "help" them.........

 

I ordered 2 board game kits, a sleeping teddy,

 

a train and one sheet of wallpaper.

 

I received also a little-thank-you-kit.

 

Vintage photos, postcards and letters..thank you Janny.

 

The wallpaper, the kits and the toys are for my toy-shop.

 

Tomorrow I will post you a photo of my shop.

I was nosy about the first issue so I bought it.

 

Price: € 1,99 (but only the 1. issue...).

 

In each magazine is something (furniture, parts of the house.....) for the house.

In this magazine is also a curtain-tutorial.
