Baby Shabby Chic Boutique Part 14 / Window

Here is the next part of my baby shop. I made a little frame for my window (I used the plastic from Jody's scraapbooking gift (see my blogpost about Rheda) and a cardboard (which you find in your kitchen f.e. kellogs ) so dust and nosy cairn terriers (I have 2 of them) have no chance!!!! I hope it so.
For the shelves I used my cardboard (the strong grey one) and glued it in the window.
I put one of my cosmetic displays and some toys on the shelf (only for testing). Now I am satisfait with my window (o.k. later I will add some lace or so).
The next step is the door...but first I have to do something for my swaps...later I will also post some workshops for displays and toys.
I wish everyone a nice day

Brocante swap / a daybed

I love to swap and I am a member of a swap group.
This bed is for the brocante/vintage swap. A little romantic daybed.

This is the first bed and I have six swap partners. So you know what I do this week.
I send you later the link for the bed (I can't find it at the moment- sorry).

I wish everyone a nice day
Sonja
P.S. Thanks to Fab for the computer help. I will try it!!!

Baby Shabby Chic Boutique Part 13/ Just a little picture

This week I have not so much time for my baby shop (I have to do my beds for my swappartners!). So I have done only a little picture & frame (materials: printie, cardboard and a ribbon). It is 3 x 3 cm.

At the moment I have problems with my blog. It started about 6 weeks ago. I can't write comments. I mean the sender is not minisonja it is annonymous and also without the little picture (photo of the little girl).
I am very sorry about this! That is also the reason why i can't post comments on other blogs!
Is here a computer expert? If you have an idea please write to minisonja@gmx.de
Thank you in advance.

I wish everyone a nic sunny day (here in Germany it is 30 degrees!!!)

I pimped an old delprado lamp for my shop. It looks better now or? I will fit it later after I finish the rest of the shop (now I am looking for a plastic box...)

I wish everyone a nice sunny weekend

Baby Shabby chic Boutique Part 12 / Ceiling rose

So here is the next update: a ceiling rose for my babyshop!
In one of my plastic boxes was an ugly ceiling rose (perfect for my shop). I painted the ceiling rose white (with my wood paint) and added some of my brown paint to make it old.
The next step is the makeover of my delprado lamp...

Baby Shabby Chic Boutique Part 11 / a mirror

I found this little mirror for 1,50 € in a secondhandshop. Ideal for my shop. I hope so the shop looks a little bit bigger...
For the frame I used some cardboard stripes (1 cm & 0,5 cm wide)and the angel was in one of my plastic boxes.... The mirror is 8,5 x 14 cm.
Sorry the photos are not so good.

Here is the next update of my shop (a wood panel for under the window and some picture rails). I prefer to work with masking tape (it is a super help to glue something into position).

Baby Shabby Chic Boutique Part 6 / Frames for the Door/window

Here are some pictures of my new frames for my shop. I cut the cardboard in
1 cm wide stripes and glued it on. The next step is to make smaller stripes (0,5 cm wide) and to glue them on the frames. So it looks more nostalgic.

Baby Shabby Chic Boutique Part 5 / Wood panels

Here are some photos of my wood panels. I don't like to work with wood so I decided to use heavy cardboard boxes. As you can see my shop has now a wooden floor - no tiles! The grouts were to wide!
