Baby Shabby Chic Boutique Part 1

So here are the first photos of my new project!!! I have painted the shop with a normal white paint (I found a rest in our garage - from our garden sheet makeover (a 1:1 project!) last week. I tested the paint of the backside of the shop! It is o.k - a little bit bulky.... like a sauce...
I think I will paint also the door and the window white.....

This is my new baby boutique! It is really a small shop but I like it.
I have 2 decorated shelves and a baby cot (shabby chic style).

My perfect day in Rheda / Dollshouse fair 1zu12

Yesterday I was shopping in Rheda. I bought a lot of minis for severals projects (now my purse is really really empty!!!) and I met also some good friends.

A bird, an iron flower pot holder and lawn for the Buttercup dollshouse



Knives for my horror shop and furniture for the bathroom (o.k. at the moment they are really ugly. Maybe I can use them for my Lisa dollshouse (Lundby scale). I hope they look better with new metall handles and legs!!!



This is my present from Helena (www.solwayminiatures.co.uk). A lovely cake stand with muffins (without calories - my luck! I am really a cocolate fan). Hope to see you next time in England!!!

I bought also a little shop! But it is really a little one. About 4 years ago I have done a baby shop but the shop was 2 cm to wide for my shelf in the living room!!! Yes I know one of my unfinish projects!! All the minis for the shop are in plastic boxes!!! So it is also time to finish this project. Tomorrow you will see a photo of my shop!!!

Minis for Corine's teddy bear shop

This little wardrobe and teddy shelf is for Corine's teddy bear shop.
Each wooden teddy bear is 3,5 cm tall.
I made also the little teddys on the shelf.

Holiday Shopping in England

Here are some photos of my holiday souvenirs. I visited Dollshouse Emporium (in Ripley) last week.



Minis for my Buttercup dollshouse: a bike, tudor style handles, garden troughs (for my "spring" flowers), jugs, a heart shape jelly mould, Dexter the busy digger dog (I have two of them in our garden!!!!)



Souvenirs for my friends Annette & Bärbel



spindels (for my shabby chic swap), a little stove (maybe for the Lisa house). The book was a gift from the shop.



In the shop were some special bargain bins (the minis are imperfect). The chair has no cushion (I always change them so no problem), the dog has no caudal and the bird bath is broken. The chair is for my French house.

Holiday

I am flying to England this night. I am back on May 15,2011.

Buxus topiary bird

This was a little yellow ceramic bird......and now I have a buxus topiary bird.
I used some green (from the model railway)

I bought also a green tree for my Buttercup garden. Maybe I can paint it a little bit (I don't like the plastic). Any ideas? I like also a treebank but i am not a woodworm.
I have so many ideas for my little Buttercup (I tought it is only a little house = little project...now I know it is not so!!!!!)

Cottage Birdhouse

I finish my little country birdhouse for my Buttercup dollshouse. It is a laser kit by Karen Benson Miniatures. I hope to find some swallows or other little birds. Maybe I find them on the dollshouse fair 1zu12 in Germany.
