Haberdashery kits by Artofmini

I have finished some of my Artofmini (www.artofmini.com) birthday kits when I was on holiday in Belgium (rain, rain...)! I really enjoyed it (hehe the kits not the weather..).

Notebook/Diary/Folder with fashion patterns (also kit 70A) I have done also a little biro...and glued some tiny tiny fabric scraps on the pattern....so it looks more realistic....

Kit 46 Cortelli Cotton Spool Box - I will put some wooden spools in the box...maybe I can do also a display...I will show you the result in the next days....

We lost our match.......Germany : Italy 1:2

Yesterday we lost our semifinal football match.....everyone is very sad...so the nurse is very busy....each doll is 5 cm tall....

Kerstin sent me a parcel with craft materials! Wow vielen vielen Dank liebe Kerstin (Thank you dear Kerstin!!)
Lots of fabric for my haberdashery shop..and other projects!! I really love the flower fabrics (the cream one with the roses is my favorite...)

Ribbons, beads, paper ornaments, 4 ceramic dolls (heads and arms.....the heads are perfect for a millinery shop.....and the arms??? Any ideas? A horror project? Maybe I can glue some lace on the arms...gloves???

Rooster Tray Tutorial

My printie is 2 cm x 2,7 cm

Do some handles with wire/beads...the small side of a Lego stones is perfect for that job....glue the handels in your tray (Tacky Glue)..put some glue directly in your tray (toothpick)and than add the handle...

Glue hat-straw around the tray...start in the middle of the small side..

Glue some fabric, paper.....on the other side of the cardboard. After drying cut the rest away....

Glue the printie on cardboard (Tacky Glue) and varnish it (matt varnish)
after drying cut it out carefully

Don't cut the paper tiles - just folding (I use the not cutting side of my scalpel and a metall ruler) Attention: this is not a tool for kids...!

A new dollshouse / Any information????

Today I bought this dollshouse in a secondhand shop in Bredene/Belgium. I paid only 15 Euros. The house has only one room and real glas windows. I think it is a homemade house an. I can't find a label or so. I will remove the light blue watch - it looks terrible cheap. It has also a painted door and roof tiles (very accurate - for a homemade house)

On Saturday I go back to Germany. The weather here at the Belgium seaside was really not good and it was very cold for a summer holiday. But I have finished my job! My job was to paint the wooden patio/terrasse.

I bought a little white Lundby cupboard....I have also one for our Lundby project (Eliana has a Lundby house and I have a Lisa house...hehe it is more a ruin...) I will cover the orange paper. Maybe I will use some Tilda papers (of course in blue....)I will do a cosy Scandinavian house.....

Spring Swap

Trudy sent my a lovely spring swap! Super cute little chicks for my Buttercup dollshouse.

And also a little girl with sring flowers in a wheelbarrow and stickers (nailstickers). Danke wel Trudy!!!


I have done this little swap for Trudy. A basket with dirty clothes and washing/cleaning products and a little tray for her kitchen. For the basket I used normal jute yarn (for post parcels). Later I will post a tutorial for the kitchen tray and the basket. I sent her also little glas bottles with ornaments (for fingernails). She can use the ornaments but also the little bottles for jam jars....

A German football supporter

So here is my little German football supporter......I bought it 2 years ago.
I bought also a little football player and a nurse.

The football player was a present for my brother Andy and the nurse for my sister Claudia (she is also a nurse). I will post the player and the nurse in the next days.

Gonnies kitchen swap

Wow what a surprise. Today I received a surprise parcel by my Belgium/Dutch swap partners! At the moment we do some paper projects for a toy shop....some weeks ago I sent some printies (circus animals, dolls...)to them...

Birthday presents

Thanks for all the lovely birthday greetings on my blog and private mails.
Here are some photos of my presents.

1.Grandma and Grandpa (who live in the Buttercup dollshouse)are so happy with their new garden bench! - the bench is so comfortable with all the pillows....

2. Original Tilda fabrics, a bottle of 3d-varnish, a brush and yes a ceramic bowl of 40 white mice (sweets - o.k. now everyone knows my age...) by Annette and Peter. Thank you!!!!

3. My new pavillion/arche for my roses in the garden!!! The name of my roses are New Dawn (the prink one) and Flammentanz (dancing fire - the red one). The roses were 4 years old on the old picture (see post of May 16th,2012).
Yesterday I bought some Black Susanna for the pavillion (so it is not so empty during the summer...). In October I can change the position of my roses......now I am looking for a bistro chair or table....or both...

Happy Birthday!!!!!

Today there is Eliana's and my birthday. It is very funny that we can celebrate our big day together. I celebrate my big day with my family and a lot of food....
The rose is for Eliana and for my blog followers. It is in my front garden.

Today there was a card and a birthday present from Brazil in my letter box


In the parcel there was a garden bench for my Buttercup dollshouse, flower pots and a wall fountain for the French house. I can use the little blue/white pillows for the Tilda house (Lisa House). Thank you Eliana!!!!! Wow I am so happy!!!!

Summer project 2009 - A miniature work bench

Here are some photos of my summer project 2009: a miniature work bench with a dollshouse. It was an online project by Rita Beninde. I used greyboard for the desk, tool box and the dollshouse. On the net I found a lot images for the little scene.
