For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)
They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.

Wait, this is actually such a cool idea! Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen, cause this is a long story.
Cast your minds back, if you will, to a little over a decade, to little 8/9 year old Ashlley playing make believe with her best friend (of the time). We were playing superheros, and as little girls do, we wanted it to be realistic. So we each did a Buzzfeed quiz for what our powers would be.
Are you with me so far? Good, cause this is where it gets a little wild.
Now, I am not the best at coming up with names. "But Ashlley! You're a writer! You should be great!" FALSE! I have entire Pinterest boards filled with names I can warp when I need to name someone new. However, this was before the time of Pinterest, and I needed a name for my character in the game. I had to think quick. Luckily, I have a master's in bs'ing and a PhD in nonsense. Here was my thought process:
1. Lava makes ash.
2. Name related to ash -> Ashley.
3. Ashley is boring, double the l (was this some subconscious part of my brain deciding, if people are gonna misspell my real name, they may as well misspell my fake name? Perhaps.) -> Ashlley.
4. Make up a surname related to lava -> Lavira.
From there, I was Ashlley Lavira in every game, every daydream and every self insert. When I started going online via Pinterest and YouTube, my name was always some variation of Lady Lavira.
And then. The year that changed so many things for so many people. 2020.
This was the year I finally caved and let my sister sit me down to watch Marvel, and my second ever hyper-obsession was born (first was Harry Potter, third is Life Series/Hermitcraft).
I responded to Harry Potter by learning every fact there was to learn, to the point where I came this close to winning a Harry Potter trivia quiz just a couple of months ago. I've responded to the mcyt by writing angst and developing my short story skills and getting Tumblr so I could be active in a fandom for the first time. I responded to Marvel in an equally sane way: self-insert fanfic.
The problem came when it stopped being self-insert. It very quickly became clear Ashlley was developing her own personality apart from me, and with it her own backstory. She grew and developed almost by herself. I spent a good two years figuring out her 15-year plot, and as she became more and more her own person, she outgrew the name "Lavira" and became Ashlley Allen instead, at the same time changing her lava powers to fire. Like a snake shedding its skin, she abandoned the name Lady Lavira and took on the mantel of Fire Queen instead.
Naturally, I had to follow suit. I changed my names on accounts already created, and when I made new ones, I always went straight for FireQueenOfficial. (Except on minecraft, which threw a temper tantrum over letter count and forced me to shorten it to TheFireQueen instead lol)
There ya go! The full story xD. This was a lot of fun. People are always like, "Oh, it's cool that you shorten your name to Ash and then your thing is fire," and I just go, "....Yeah, the fire came first (in the form of lava but still lol)."

so I was like 7-ish and downloaded a Minecraft knock-off called (I think?) world of cubes. There was one official server I would join that was completely roleplay based and it was a lot of fun. (I realized later it was a very toxic community and I will never go back) I had this obsession with the name Luna, so that stuck.
Now, when I was nine I got an iPad of my own and downloaded another knock-off called Multicraft, and I made so many friends there. I was on one server mainly, DreamLand, and that was a more serious server where people progressed on their own, there was PvP, mobs, mining, but it was overall a great community.
Now, this is where the “glitches” part comes in. My internet was bullshit. I would get kicked off so often (especially when my little brother unplugged the router and we didn’t know, thanks a lot) and it was honestly a struggle bus, but I made it work, and that was the name I stuck with when I then joined my next Multicraft server, Avalon. That carried over to Discord, Pinterest, Tumblr, everything, and lately I’ve been changing my screen name to Quinn due to my latest role in a school play and figuring my gender out!

So initially, my username was Azurite, and it was given to me by my best friend, and then I told him I needed something more distinguishable from other people if I was going to try doing youtube. I wanted a similar name, but we ended up coming up with Azurbright, and we created a whole persona for it. It was fun.

my username used to be something really different but one night I realised that my name was too recognisable since I didn’t want anyone I know finding out about these accounts. (Which has since changed) so I sat there, and decided I wanted something silly, something that could be hard to identify me from. At first it was “auseryoumightknow” because of the chance someone knows me, I can tell them “you might know me” but then I decided that “you may know” is better. Someone started calling me may, and that name got smacked on my intersona, but I’ve kinda grown to like it just how some people call me Cole. I didn’t really know how I felt about the name may until Mouse (love that guy) called me may verbally and it was just like. Wow, I didn’t know I liked being called that along with Cole

Ok, so my username was originally mayla-the-menace, because that was, at the time, my fursona. Eventually though, I had realized that I had given Mayla too much lore and separate personality for a character I wanted to basically just be me but magic cat, so I preformed mitosis and so now there’s Mayla the character, ruler of my fictional world and perpetually burnt out because of all the shit she has to deal with, and Maela, the blob cat that I use to represent myself online and in daydreams, who’s only separation from me outside of being a magical blob cat thing is that she’s able to consume hazardous materials. Mayla is aware of Maela and despises me because I gave her a bunch of bullshit work to do. I reply with “would you rather be completely all powerful and the center of attention constantly 100% of the time even more?” And she stops complaining. Imo nothing funnier than an oc aware of the fact they’re an oc, you should try it sometime
so, my nickname irl is 'nube' which is literally cloud in Spanish, and I wanted to implement it in my internet name sooo, at first I had used the url your-averege-cloud but shit happened and I ended up erasing that account off the face of the earth :}
So, I needed a new url, I wanted to go with Its_cloud but that was taken and I realized ' wait, I can just change its with another thing and it'll be original' and would you look at that I was RIGHT, so Iys-cloud was created and since then I use that username literally everywhere

Me and my brother, boyfriend, sister-in-law, and unofficial sister all have a story universe together. As in we have a massive original series where we all write in the same universe but use different times, locations, and situations. They’re all related and canon to one another.
We discussed for awhile how, when we get published, we’d like to have our books next to each other on shelves, but we all have very different last names. So we decided to look into a pseudonym that we could all use in front of our real names so the author is credited but our books all sit together on shelves.
The longest running one we had was Kranak, as an anagram of our main characters names.
I still use this name as my artist signature, actually, but I realized HUH. Everyone is gonna pronounce this wrong.
My addiction to Don’t Starve comes in. See, Klei Entertainment, the devs of Don’t Starve, host these streams called Rhymes with Play streams, in reference to how their name is pronounced. Mixed that with the pronunciation of Kranak and we ended up here! RhymesWithChronic :3

Honestly?? AmberQueen01 is a very old username for me. I came up with it when I was younger, when my family got an xbox 360 and we had to make accounts for the first time.
My siblings all just wrote their actual names, but me, being a connoisseur of creativeness (and a watcher of mcyt content) decided to come up with a cool username.
Being so long ago I can only guess that this was my thougjt process, I can't actually remember. But 'Amber' is derived from my real name (which is not amber shock horror) and the 'Queen' part i prolly just slapped on cuz it sounded cool. Then put the 01 on the end because everyone knows that a good minecraft username has numbers on the end (according to ~7 year old me)
So I came up with AmberQueen01 and that's who I've been ever since. I grew attached to it I guess

my name is both super old and also relatively recent! it all started in middle school when i was first introduced to minecraft. i had to make my first username! i was super into amylee33 at the time (if yall remember her!!), and loooved winter. i think around that time i had my first (and last- climate change smh) blizzard, so winter was On The Mind.
thus! Arcticwind33 was born
a couple years later, i don’t remember a lot of the details, but i grew tired of the username. i also got extremely into space! so, wanting to keep a bit from my original name, i merged both space and winter vibes into frost nova! (also i may have been influenced by a certain attack from dragon city as i used to play it a lot, but i cant remember so! yeah :3)
the 321 part was just because frost nova as a user is pretty common and i needed some numbers (plus my favorite number is 3 so shrugs)

The name MavRatt came about from my name (Maverick) and Rat. Very self explanatory lmao.
I originally made it for a self insert story about streamers (I had to make a gamertag for myself). I never did anything with the story and its very cringe reading back on it, but the tag stuck.
I used to go by Sparrow (the name of my fursona) online, but after I transitioned I remade my sona and changed my name to Maverick! Surprisingly my fursona is not a rat, and even weirder is rats aren't even one of my favourite animals, I just have a history of my friends calling me "the rat man" because of my continuous jokes about being in their walls.

Pastaisme123 was my scratch name bc it was shared with mu brother and we wanted to name it smth we both liked. I took over the acc then later when making my yt channel I wanted to include my already established name pasta, and the fact I dtew cats mostly. So the thecatspasta was born

When I was little I was reaaalllyy into Pokémon and wanted to involve “eevee” in my username. All fine and good but my studious younger self thought that was too boring. So what did I do?? Randomly pick the first Pokémon move I remembered, obviously. So “psycho cut” was brilliantly tacked on to the end of my username. I was so opposed to change for years online that I’m pretty sure you can still find “Eevee psycho cut” being credited in some sort of project. Eventually I just changed the spelling to “Evie” and tacked on “Stardust” instead because of my interest in astronomy. I don’t think the username is anything too special now, but it’s history is pretty funny

So my original username had my actual name in it, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I have a unique name with a spelling of it that is even less common. So, as I got older and learned internet safety I decided to change it. For some reason I wanted to use either a flower or spice in my name. So I scrolled on a website of different spices till I found maple sugar. I loved it and tacked on doodles because of my love to draw!!
My full username used to be Space God Balance, because I really freaking like space and my online name is Balance. But I felt it was a little too long and kinda cringey so I shorted it down to this! @katoo-art @dayables @staralite

Obviously my whole “theme” is stars so I was trying to think of a username that started with star. Eventually I combined the word satellite with star. Staralite :) And it kind of sounds like starlight which is cute.
Similar thing for my other blog. I honestly spent way too long trying to think of a prefix to add to star. So many usernames I thought of were already taken.

Ok so mine is quite silly because my "real" user name is Glassykrieg (which is the combination of the word Glassy and a character from the game skullgirls, Krieg ) but when I made my Tumblr account I hadn't come up with that username yet, so the first thing that popped out of my head was fresco de horchata which is a traditional beverage from my country that is made out of peanuts or morro, it's sweet and kinda creamy. Now I feel like it's too late to change it lol but I really like the name so I'm gonna keep it.

Tbh when I was choosing a name for my art account, the first thing that came to my mind was "I have to choose 2 words easy for ppl to remember and put them together", so I pick the words "evil" and "heart". "Evil" cuz most of my fav characters are evil hearted lmao and " heart" cuz if you quit the "he", the word "art" is left and my account it's abt my art so yeah, that's the explanation ^^'. Oh, and for the "12" at the end is bcz it's my fav number.
